That is why I stay away from companies doing stock buybacks. It is a dirty scheme to boost payouts of execs (since most are paid in stocks to avoid paying taxes). Google is a growth stock. They don’t really pay out dividends. They buy out stock instead when they have profits, causing the Wltoys car racing watercolor shirt but in fact I love this share price to rise. This is why stock buybacks are bad. Even companies doing stock buy backs will lose in the long run while those pigs will be long gone.
