That was her reply to me after I brought up the Violent Femmes Band American folk punk band T-Shirt it is in the first place but sudden weight gain I experienced when starting a new medication. Yeah. No shit there aren’t any calories in the pill. But don’t you think it might be possibly jacking with my metabolism in addition to increasing my appetite/carb cravings? I’m a teen so every time I go for a yearly checkup I get that stupid teen lecture. This time however she wanted to discuss SEX which ofc I didn’t have a problem with because I know too much anyways. She talked, blah blah blah, but then drops “just know all boys want is sex, and no matter how much they love you they’ll leave after having sex with you so waiting for marriage is a great idea!” and I just sat there screaming internally 2 gynecologists told me I had “mental health issues” for wincing during a not-so-sensitive pelvic exam. Pretty sure they profiled my culture and assumed I was a victim of the patriarchy. Racist white ladies. My gyno now is a male poc

I asked what kind of tests I could maybe take to see whether or not I could get pregnant or test to see if I have issues. I was about 22 at the Violent Femmes Band American folk punk band T-Shirt it is in the first place but time. The bitch said oh you won’t have to worry about that and had a shitty look on her face. As if I’ll be loaded down with kids soon enough. Well I’m 37 now and not once have I been pregnant that I know of. I’ve been in only 3 serious relationships since then. The third being with my fiancé and it’s been 12 years together. He wore condoms for the first maybe 3 years but never once in the last 9. We’re happily child free but I mean cmon man. People know their bodies to a degree. She played me and I’ll never forget that day or the look on her face. Bitch
