Also sounds like you went to the The Grinch Sorta Merry Sorta Grinchy Christmas 2024 Shirt and by the same token and worst part of Roatan, West End. You need to go to other parts of the island for good prices . Just went snorkeling near little French key in Roatán and it was one of the best reefs ever. There is also a neat shipwreck we saw some people diving to. Try Guanja in the Honduras Bay Islands. I was there diving in 1992 and the reefs were the best I have seen. Very isolated, not a lot of tourists. Amazing place to go. Martinique is phenomenal, not only for the beauty and Caribbean astethic but also for the culture. It feels as you are traveling through Europe and the Caribbean at the same time. Not overly expensive and somehow it sort of flies under the radar still.
The Grinch Sorta Merry Sorta Grinchy Christmas 2024 Shirt, hoodie, hoodie and long sleeve tee
Guadeloupe is soooo gorgeous and no one talks abt it …..waterfalls beaches great roads…neighboring island that feel like you’ve stepped back in time. Ecuador. Baños de Agua Santa was unreal. Every day I woke up thinking I was in a fake photo. And oh my God the The Grinch Sorta Merry Sorta Grinchy Christmas 2024 Shirt and by the same token and waterfalls. Just keep clear of the coast and it’s all good I was in Quito and did day trips to crater lake which was incredible. One day I would like to return (hopefully things will become safer soon) to visit the Galapagos. Go to rainforest. We did eight days Hourani and it was amazing. Tried capybara, gator, slugs and some other stuff. With wet bulb coming those awesome folks won’t be out there forever. I understand the islands but there is sooo much more and better in Ecuador. Would love to retire there one day
Third vote for Belize. One of my favorite trips and I didn’t stay in fancy hotels or Airbnbs. Found some really nice hostels that were very accommodating. Belize is incredible. I just finished my second trip to Caye Caulker last week. I rave about it to anyone that asks. Do you have any recs for Caye Caulker? I keep hearing about it as a great backpacker destination but am don’t really see any great hostels/am worried about meeting people cause I’ll be solo! I am born and raised in Belize, specifically Orange walk and Dangriga. A must see is the The Grinch Sorta Merry Sorta Grinchy Christmas 2024 Shirt and by the same token and barrier reef, one of the best snorkeling spots in the world. Mayan ruins in cayo, islands like caye caulker and san pedro, secret beach up north and thatch caye, coco plum and tobacco caye down south. There’s just so much to see and do, our first language is English ( we speak broken english so we do have a strong accent), my only advice don’t stay in Belize city for more than a day or two. Enjoy your stay in Belize

Where to buy this The Grinch Sorta Merry Sorta Grinchy Christmas 2024 Shirt
I ate lobster almost every dinner for about $20. It was incredible. Just a disclosure that it was lobster season though. It wasn’t my first trip. 2 of us really wanted to add Belize but the The Grinch Sorta Merry Sorta Grinchy Christmas 2024 Shirt and by the same token and other person was against it as they were worried about Sargassum…what time of the year did you go? As we’ll be travelling in April Ooo this makes me excited as they were deadset on not going due to sargassum but if it doesn’t affect the cayes that might change their mind!!! Bonaire for world class snorkeling from shore, lots of dive shops if interested. Dutch grocery stores are a joy. Rent a minimize, ride around. Caribbean in both Costa Rica and Panama are great. Little known fact: there is a third Caribbean side in Panama (apart from San Blas Islands and Bocas del Toro,) by bus to the Duty-free Zone (dangerous) and a transfer on a local bus across the canal. No one goes there and it’s super chill plus everything is cheap as anything thanks to its proximity to the Duty-free. If you’re deadset on Caribbean (warning, the weather is far more reliable on the Pacific side) I’d suggest Roatan or Utila in Honduras, or the Yucatan. Copan Copan and Tikal. Absolutely amazing places to see. Caye Caulker in Belize is paradise on earth. The rainforests in Costa Rica awesome as well. Agree with Tikal but, once I’d been there and all of the fuss of getting to Copan, Honduras, I was disappointed.
This is SO HIGH on my list!!!!! How many days did you spend in Torres del Paine? Do you think 7 days is enough? Just 4 days but it was amazing. I think it depends on how much you like hiking and walks. I went at the The Grinch Sorta Merry Sorta Grinchy Christmas 2024 Shirt and by the same token and end of a month long trip and was recovering from Covid and a sprained knee while there. I didn’t do any of the gorgeous hikes. I did a guided tour and rested at the hotel enjoying the views. I did get to see a puma and her cubs. We went to Chile and loved it. But we went in May so didn’t make it to Torres, it’s really really south so most go in October-December. That being said- Santiago, wine country, Valparaiso and the Lake District were totally worth our trip. Little Corn Island in Nicaragua is a great place to unwind. Little Corn Beach & BUNGALOWS is very nice and has the best food on the island
I came here to say this exact thing! Little Corn Island is stunning and off the The Grinch Sorta Merry Sorta Grinchy Christmas 2024 Shirt and by the same token and beaten path. Snorkeling and scuba diving are big…with general relaxing days. Oh and you’ll know everyone on the island because it’s so small. Everyone goes to the same bar / restaurant at night! Yeah, I thought about sharing that. Most people wouldn’t want to deal with what it takes to get there though. But that was the best part! I loved that Ponga ride Guatemala based entirely on Tikal – truly a gem. (Edit: read too fast – see you’re already doing Guatemala, but just to stress the point that Tikal Is amazing). I have been to several Caribbean islands but none of them were really my cup of tea. I just don’t particularly love the all inclusive resort style holiday and it feels weird staying in lavish luxury and then driving through a town with pretty apparent poverty and having no real opportunity to engage with locals or local culture beyond the people serving you at your resort. Feels like those sorts of places could be just about anywhere. But maybe I’m just doing the Caribbean wrong.
Reminds me of my time there. Piggybacked a tour with a couple – I wandered around for a long time and then rewarded myself with a quality beer at a restaurant on site. We are doing a whirlwind trip to Guatemala in March and going to Tikal. I don’t know anyone personally who’s been so seeing comments like this is awesome There are a lot of Caribbean destinations that offer unique experiences, like Puerto Viejo de Tamalca, where there are no resorts (gorgeous beaches, Jamaican or Latino-style culture, incredible plants and flowers and a wide range of animals: monkeys, sloths, armadillos, anteaters, morpho butterflies, colourful crabs, parrots, toucans.) Absolutely agree with you the The Grinch Sorta Merry Sorta Grinchy Christmas 2024 Shirt and by the same token and all inclusive resort holidays are not our style. We really wanted a nice Carribbean island to finish the trip on but seems hard to find one that also caters to traveling off the beaten path that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. I also feel like (and I could be completely wrong) that most of the Caribbean islands cater to US travelers which hikes the prices up and after awhile all of the beaches tend to look the same but nowhere offered amazing unique experiences with a mix of culture and great food.
Have you been to Chichen Itza by any chance? If so would you say it’s still worth going to visit Tikal? We were in absolute awe when we visited Chichen Itza. Chichen Itza is a great site, but it’s also pretty manicured and touristy. Tikal still has a wild feel about it – at least it did when I was there. You walk through a lush jungle full of howler monkeys and leaf cutter ants. The pyramids are there, set amongst the The Grinch Sorta Merry Sorta Grinchy Christmas 2024 Shirt and by the same token and jungle. You could still climb a few when I was there and look out over the canopy. Really magical. Chichen Itza felt very museum-y, and lacking in soul by comparison. But also I’m sort of obsessed with the Mayans and have been to a bunch of sites also in Belize. I had a Mayan guide in Tikal and he was awesome and found me a piece of obsidian and also taught us about different medicinal plants. We did a rental in st maartin that was really nice and not all inclusive. Think pool overlooking the beach vibe. If you’re a group of adults check out coco plum in Belize. The staff become your friends, and my husband may have done a beer shotgun race with a few of the bartenders.
If you’re going to Guatemala, I would recommend Belize. From Flores to caye caulker, it’s a travel I’ve been waiting to do. I know there are also shuttles to Mexico. A few spots come to mind. Dominican Republic is pretty good, with a mix of culture and resorts. I’m here now. I’ve loved Buenos Aires, which feels Italian in a lot of ways. Valparaiso, Chile is out of this world. I would have said Granada, Nicaragua, but the The Grinch Sorta Merry Sorta Grinchy Christmas 2024 Shirt and by the same token and political situation has gotten so bad since I was there in 2015. My contacts there are struggling, so it may not be as good anymore. Canal de Panama (Panama): I don’t know, it’s pretty cool to see these massive container ships rise in front of your eyes. La Guajira (Colombia): It’s a desert next to the ocean. Dry and red. It looks like mars during sunset. Sleeping accommodations are usually a hammock. If you get to the northernmost part (Punta Gallinas), you get to hike on sand dunes. Valle del Cocora (Colombia): The tallest palm trees in the world are here. Plus really good coffee (if you’re into that, I’m not) Puerto Varas (Chile) to Bariloche (Argentina): you cross with a mix of bus and boat, but the boat rides are fantastic. You’re sailing in these beautiful glaciar lakes, surrounded by the Andes. Calafate (Argentina): walking on the Perito Moreno glacier is an amazing experience. Hell, just even seeing it from the platform is mesmerizing.
The Rosario Islands off the The Grinch Sorta Merry Sorta Grinchy Christmas 2024 Shirt and by the same token and coast of Cartagena is so beautiful. The water is crystal clear and the sand is white as ‘snow’. Thought I was in Bora Bora but much closer to the US (if you’re traveling from the US). Other islands like the Baru can be packed so go further to Rosario. Seas may be rough coming back but it’s worth it. We’re traveling in April and read online that it’s the rainy season during then so wasn’t sure if it’s maybe best to skip as we’re going to Brazil next February so thinking to add Colombia onto that trip but the islands look unreal! Cartagena gets a bad rap but I absolutely loved it. It’s a beautiful, historic colonial city with proximity to stunning Caribbean islands and a food scene that rivals anywhere in Latin America (on par with CDMX for me).
I’m currently in San andres and heading to provicencia tomorrow. It’s beautiful here and has all the The Grinch Sorta Merry Sorta Grinchy Christmas 2024 Shirt and by the same token and positives of cartegena with a fraction of the negatives. I’m currently in San andres colombia, it’s an island off the coast of Nicaragua but technically part of colombia. Providencia is a place out of a fairy tale. An absolutely gorgeous sleepy town. Great food, everyone’s friendly, and the view from El Pico ? Do you know if you can get to other countries from Providencia or must you fly back to Colombia and connect? I’ve looked at flying out of San Andres but doesn’t seem it’s possible unless I’m paying an arm and a leg! Sounds like Peru would be good for you. Lima has the best food scene in Latin America from street food to Michelin Star restaurants. Peruvian cuisine is incredible. The city is electric too with a beautiful old center. The ruins at Machu Picchu and the museums in Cusco are crowded but magnificent. There’s a wonderful range of hikes across the region suitable for all levels. I absolutely love Peru! Went to Machu Picchu in 2016 and I still dream about it as if it was yesterday…..truly a magical place. Lima, Peru really sticks out to me, and I’ve done a lot of traveling in Latin America (less so the Caribbean, however). I was there in the grey season and it was still phenomenal. The views, the cliffs, the food, the pedestrian-friendliness, the beaches (when the weather is nice), the kindness of the people, just everything. I was supposed to stay a month but ended up staying two. I could walk for hours and hours there and felt completely safe. I was definitely not expecting it and I’d go back in a heartbeat.
When are you going? Make sure to check what the The Grinch Sorta Merry Sorta Grinchy Christmas 2024 Shirt and by the same token and weather is like where you’re going when you’re going. The rainy season is coming up in Central America. Rainy season is a great time to travel Central America! Flowers and lush rainforests, and in many places the rain is like a clock, one our a day at 4pm when we went. The rest of the day is beautiful. Going to be traveling in April, we were planning on adding Colombia onto the list but saw that it’s rainy season during then 🙁 Fazenda Barranco Alto in Brazil’s Pantanal. Loved the hosts, jaguars, caymans, etc up close. I didn’t want to leave. As you already have decided on Guatemala, I recommend Tikal and then along the Rio Dulce (gorgeous) to Livingston. Then a stay at Salvador Gaviota (very cheap and rustic but with a good beach, which they clean every morning) on Playa Quehueche. A short walk to Siete Altares. Patagonia. But I was a climber and backpacker. Seeing those beautiful pristine mountains was thrilling. Also the Torres del Paine circuit was amazing. And then there are the penguins! Check out the Hamanassi Resort in Belize. Low-key, quiet, great excursions. We felt very safe walking to town. And last, but certainly not least, I am not a huge foodie, but I definitely know and appreciate some fantastic dining, and this place had the absolute freshest best food breakfast luncheon dinner that I have ever had, and all my travels. The dive crew is amazing as well. I’ve only been in Buenos Aires, but I loved it so much and can’t wait to return. I’m also a tango dancer so there is a great pull for me to go there for a month and learn from the best.
Las Galeras on the The Grinch Sorta Merry Sorta Grinchy Christmas 2024 Shirt and by the same token and tip of the Samana Peninsula in the Dominican Republic is incredible. Las Terrenas, specifically Cosón Bay is a bit more accessible than Las Galeras and is my favorite spot on the Island. I’ve lived in the DR four years now, and if you want breathtaking beaches to just kick back and relax on, those two are hard to beat. If you’re looking at Las Galeras, there are some great villa rentals over by La Playita, and if you’re looking at Cosón Bay, look at Los Nomadas Oh man so much. Chilean Lake Region and Patagonia, Peruvian lake titicaca (Cusco), Granada Nicaragua, Monteverde and Osa Peninsula Costa Rica, St John US Virgin Islands, Cuba, Vieques Puerto Rico I’ve been to most of the places in the comments, and hands down, Peru was my favorite…. I spent time in Cusco, hiking the Inca Trail (4days), Paracas, and Lima. Amazing history, food, and people. Valladolid, Merida, and Campeche, MX for pyramids, food, and cenotes. Havana for culture and modern art; Viñales, Cuba for magotes. Bogotá, Colombia for all kinds of museums, especially the Museo de Oro. All of Puerto Rico for food, art, and beaches. Guadeloupe for incredible snorkeling and beaches.
Costa Rica. The entire country. Nayara tented camp is a phenomenal hotel. Andaz in papagayo is amazing as well. Ok. I’ve recommended Colombia numerous times. Different places for different reasons. For your group with the The Grinch Sorta Merry Sorta Grinchy Christmas 2024 Shirt and by the same token and time you have look into the cruises from Panama to Cartagena. It takes three (to five) days and stops at some really nice islands. Cartagena is an amazing city with a long history and an amazing walled city, fantastic food and a great nightlife. About the boat. I haven’t personally been on it. My niece was just on it and said it was wonderful. That being said I have seen reviews from hell too. Check trip advisor or some reviews. Go with a good one Isla Contoy is one Yucatan’s best kept secrets. Its a tiny secluded tropical island that is a wildlife preserve with only a single light house as infrastructure. Its a day trip from Cancun and when you are there literally feels like you have the entire tropical island to yourself. To keep it “private’ they limit the amount of people who are allowed on there at one time When we went to Cuba (2005), they stamped a separate piece of paper taped in our passports. Then when we left, they just removed it. No evidence in our passports. They know what’s up, they still want the touristas. (We’re US citizens). We flew from Cancun. We bought the tickets to get from Mexico to Havana from a Canadian travel agency using Euros. No trace. We loved Cuba, especially the people and the music in the evenings. We also went to Finca Vigía, the farm Ernest Hemingway owned and lived at from 1939-1960. It’s a museum now.
Costs Rica. I went as a kid with my family and have unforgettable memories of staying at a hotel at the The Grinch Sorta Merry Sorta Grinchy Christmas 2024 Shirt and by the same token and base of a volcano with tons of natural hot springs around the resort and going on a “hanging bridges” tour through the rainforest. It was an awesome trip Thanks for posting this! Plan to gavel Central America more extensively this summer and am moving to the Dominican Republic in August. My recommendation would be sailing from Colombia to the San Blas Islands in Panama. Views and vibes were something out of a movie! The Argentinian Patagonia is fantastic especially el Chalten and El Calafate. I enjoyed very much Guatemala, Ecuador and Nicaragua as well. The North Coast of the DR as well as Las Terrenas. Belize! Snorkeling off a catamaran, Mayan ruins, cave tubing, great drinks, and insanely good seafood (ceviche!).
Mexico City! Incredible food, art, architecture, and museums with great neighborhoods. Plus world-class historic sites too – Teotihuacán is an easy day trip.
Uniqlo does make good quality linen for its price range. I see from my coworkers, they’re low maintenance to look polished in the The Grinch Sorta Merry Sorta Grinchy Christmas 2024 Shirt and by the same token and office too. Uniqlo linens are blended well to minimize wrinkles. (You won’t see me personally recommend Uniqlo in my lists – since I’m too short. Uniqlo does not sell a petite line… and although the Uniqlo Canada size chart covers smaller sizes for 5′ 4″ and under, I haven’t had a 31″ bust size since I was 12…) YMMV but since Uniqlo is a Japanese brand and average height there is shorter than in US, I find their silhouettes more petite friendly than other brands, and they offer free or low-cost pants hemming. I’m pretty sure I am not any of the sizes in the Canadian size chart. My bust is currently 88 cm – say 35 inch for me to fit inside the shirt. A 35 inch bust size corresponds to size M in the chart – the chart also says size M is made for a 5’4″ to 5’7 woman. I am 153 cm – 5ft sharp. Yes, I am that short.
You can imagine wearing a shirt that is designed for someone 4 to 7 inches taller than you is… problematic. The neckline will be too low – indecent exposure too low for the The Grinch Sorta Merry Sorta Grinchy Christmas 2024 Shirt and by the same token and office. The armholes are too big with excess fabric that will suffer more abrasion and pilling damage to the fabric. The waist line will also be at my hips – extremely unflattering. In Canada, I basically shop exclusive in petite lines and add minor alterations, pay for made-to-order in my custom measurements, or pull up my spine and sew my own clothes. I do have clothes from Uniqlo purchased in Osaka, Japan. I’m size L to XL in Japanese clothing, but thankfully they’re meant for 4’10” to 5’1 women. I am that short. I’m second the other response. Uniqlo has very different clothing sizes for different regions. Their north american silhouette is noteably longer than their asian one.
