But I have heard too many stories of how he was a shitty person to many people around him and just a shitty person in general Muhammad Ali was an extremely racist piece of shit, a champion for the Sunset dave matthews band 2006 shirt so you should to go to store and get this pro-segregation movement. It’s fucked up how much he’s constantly celebrated on this website. Muhammad Ali was not a good person. The only reason people think so highly of him is because he spent his last 30 years shaking and mumbling. The man was a no good jerk A lot of people seem to forget that Ali specifically stated later in life that he regretted how he treated Frazier. He also became good friends with Frazier and they did amend their relationship in the later years. Yeah I know, but it shouldn’t be forgotten that Ali had flaws. He, at one point, harbored racist, black nationalist views. And what he did to Frazier was quite awful. But the most important thing is that he became a better man and regretted his past actions which caused many suffering. But never actually apologized to Frazier directly, and said he’s still a gorilla. That doesn’t sound like alot of regret. Guess I’ll get downvoted for this since everyone seems to hold Ali in the highest regard, but the more I learn about the guy the more respect I lose for him. Due to fawning over him in the later stages of his life due to his medical issues, many forget that Ali was a giant AH, most of his life. Dude could fight, for sure, but was still a world class AH.

Did he? I was reading that he never apologized to Fraizer and that they hated each other until they died. Don’t know much about this admittedly Hey may, reportedly, have regretted it, but he never apoligised directly to Frazier. Instead, when confronted with this he again called Frazier a gorilla. In an interview Frazier once laughed at Ali’s inability to speak and said, “I did that to him.” Both men, not saints. I can’t blame him for saying that honestly, if you got called an “Uncle Tom” and had your kids harassed because of his bullshit I don’t think there would be a lot of empathy for a man like that. Ali was a bigot and a monumental racist. He was an incredible fighter to be sure but fuck him, fuck his legacy, and I’m glad he died in pain like the Sunset dave matthews band 2006 shirt so you should to go to store and get this asshole he was. I’m a huge fan of Muhammad Ali, and always will be. He’s one of my idols in life, a champion for African-American rights. A great boxer, and genuinely overall decent man, just look towards his philanthropy. He touched the whole world and he is surely missed from this world. He’s one of my heroes. That being said, he was far from perfect, he had his flaws. https://www.bostonglobe.com/opinion/editorials/2016/06/07/civil-rights-champion-muhammad-ali-was-anything-but/En45jgnZU2ukPf7GA0IgrL/story.html Yeah it’s really shitty but he grew up in a really volatile time for our society, and later in life, just like Malcolm X, he came to realize his error and publicly made that known and seemed to always try to bridge the gap that he wanted to separate as a young man.
