Again, if you read further down, the San Francisco Giants And Peanuts Posing Next To The Car Shirt in other words I will buy this OP mentions that the cousin didn’t break this TV and that it was likely damaged in shipping. That’s not shipping damage, you can see where someone has gripped the TV too much down the bottom of the display and have flexed it causing the cracks to go up while removing it from the box. The cousin didn’t break the second tv, that was how it came. There’s not really a reason to bring up the cousin breaking the first tv. Where did you get the idea that the cousin broke the second TV? That was not implied in the title, and I don’t see it anywhere in the comment section. most if not all VR headsets have a “Guardian System” where you set up a virtual perimeter inside the headset that displays when either the headset or hand controllers touch that virtual wall, so unless OP set the headset up to be outside of the playable space (I do because I’m the only one using mine and I know what room I use it in) then his cousin is an idiot You used to be able to disable it in older headsets but newer headsets require you to set it up, and I doubt anyone is still rocking a good condition Oculus CV1 I was drunk as shit one time and got out of my chair and headbutted my friends 60in TV. You know the next morning I was there buying a new T.V. for him lol. I’m thinking OP is maybe using “replace” to mean put back in place after being knocked (or punched) over, not purchased a replacement.
San Francisco Giants And Peanuts Posing Next To The Car Shirt: get your shirt now
Does sound like this is TV number 2. Guess it’s time to go onto roommates number 2 because OP cousin doesn’t sound ideal. Guess in mean time OP could move his TV into his own bedroom. So cousin can get his own. For punching bag purposes or simply leave this fucked up one for him to bitch about. Because he doesn’t deserve OP new TV. Coming from someone who works in a warehouse for a large retailer. I’m honestly surprised any TV, or otherwise fragile product, actually makes to the San Francisco Giants And Peanuts Posing Next To The Car Shirt in other words I will buy this store without being damaged in some way. I’ve seen the way they come in, and I’ve seen what some of my co-workers do to them. you guys are crazy lol. this is the new tv unfortunately. he broke the old one while playing vr and the new tv broke in shipping. it’s almost like they need a new standard for shipping products but whatever.
You kinda made it sound like he punched it on purpose. With no context, one can only conclude the San Francisco Giants And Peanuts Posing Next To The Car Shirt in other words I will buy this punch was intentional I instantly assumed this to be legitimate rage bait just because it really fits the pattern so incredibly well with the context omission and suggestive title. You should explain that in the post, because your post comes across as if he punched the new TV before you even got to use it. It also makes him come across as a rage-monster, instead of it being a VR accident. I worked in the freight industry once. I took a call from a customer who received a tv that the driver had driven the prongs of a fork lift through. The driver should have sent it to the damaged goods section of the depot but he thought “Nah fuck it” and delivered it.

Description for San Francisco Giants And Peanuts Posing Next To The Car Shirt
I had the San Francisco Giants And Peanuts Posing Next To The Car Shirt in other words I will buy this fantastic job of explaining to the customer that the second he signed it as received was when his freight insurance ended and he would need to contact the store he purchased from and hope they weren’t arseholes like our drivers (shit like this happened regularly and on purpose). So what the hell were customers supposed to do if the damage WASN’T obvious from the outside? You obviously don’t LEGALLY get to destroy the delivery and tell them ‘tough, you received it’. Before you sign at least give the box a cursory look over and if you see obvious damage don’t accept it. Its insured until you sign receipt of delivery. sorry my title sucks guys 🙁 seriously though i didn’t mean anything by it for my cousin i was more just pissed about how ironic it was that my new tv was broken as well
Did your cousin replace the San Francisco Giants And Peanuts Posing Next To The Car Shirt in other words I will buy this tv ? Or give you money for it ? Otherwise he’s never alone infront of the tv again . I sound petty but who destroys someone else’s tv ? I’d have a cousin paying for the new TV OR PENDING SEVERITY of situation, not have a cousin anymore by virtue of COMPLETE BAN !!! 430 more repliesI used to enjoy the speed and was self centered enough to think it was about my skill in weaving. Then I hit 30 and became an adult. i’m more careful in general since turning 30 too. something about my partner & dogs relying on me shifted things. glad ur taking things slower. If you have a wide open highway with barely anyone on it, it’s fun to make yourself go fast. It’s dangerous if you’re swerving in between cars during rush hour or something like that, but just going fast on the open road is a col feeling. I did when I was 17 years old. Life was great. Then I grew up. I’ll speed on long road trips when it’s worth it I’m saying this as someone who was once severely depressed. I was suicidal, but I didn’t actually attempt it. However, I intentionally put myself in situations that could potentially kill me. I grew up in the middle of nowhere, where I would cruise on the back roads going over 80 MPH on the winding roads. So, weaving through the highway traffic didn’t seem that hazardous to me. I regularly go 90+ on the highway when it’s relatively safe to do so. I would never weave in and out of traffic or drive like a moron in general.
Speeding I’m fine with but there’s a place and time. Swerving in and out of traffic to get maybe 3 minutes ahead of schedule I don’t get. Where I live it’s routine to watch people blow through school zones and around buses picking up children. Even more infuriating. When I was young I would drive like this and I could knock off 4 hours from a 1,000 mile trip. Pretty nice but not worth the San Francisco Giants And Peanuts Posing Next To The Car Shirt in other words I will buy this risk I don’t weave in and out, but I love 100+. Grew up driving muscle cars and at the track. It’s relaxing to me. I do prefer open roads, tho. Traffic makes it dangerous. I was on the freeway yesterday in heavy traffic’s and a semi was behind my riding my tail like crazy. There was nowhere to go but I could tell he getting angry. When traffic opened up I moved over to let him as sure enough he had huge “Trump 2024” and “ Back the Blue” painted on the back. You know that was one angry right wing motherfucker.
It’s because my water broke prematurely at 29 weeks and I thought my baby was dying. I was rushing to the San Francisco Giants And Peanuts Posing Next To The Car Shirt in other words I will buy this hospital as fast as I could. I have PTSD from it now and about 20% of the time when I’m driving, I’ll develop the same emotions from when I was going into premature labor. I’ll find myself unconditionally speeding up. I always catch myself and slow down. I never speed as fast as I did the day my water broke but I do find myself creeping up in speed. I go to therapy and that’s helped a lot. I’m not weaving in and out of traffic or anything like that but it does worry me that I’m unconsciously speeding up. it’s kinda like a cult. They call it “cutting up” . It’s something hoodrats tend to do to think their slick, driving their muscle cars or cheap ass infinities that they slam to the ground. They’re also often in “strikers.” stolen cars with no plate, always going to run from cops. There’s this whole other world out there and you’d never know. I never drive over like 85 on the highway which is basically the speed limit here in texas ¯_(ツ)_/¯. this is what i wanted to know fr. bc i can tell that many times they’re driving these shit cars super fast and they follow each other in quick succession. i’m just like what are y’all DOING literally what is going on in your lives lol
I mean are speed limits are way to slow, unless you drive a very old car even a budget car can handle speeds of 80+ without much difficulty. I’ve done it my past because the San Francisco Giants And Peanuts Posing Next To The Car Shirt in other words I will buy this adrenaline rush made me feel alive. Back then I wasnt really concerned about the danger to anyone or much of anything in life. I drive much much more reasonably now. I keep it to 80 and under 98% of the time which is normal speeds in light traffic in my area. I also really do try to not to be an ass to people anymore. I admit I still love blasting music with the windows down and zipping down the freeway. It just feels good even without the rush of weaving through traffic now I can’t help myself honestly. My comfortable speed is around 83mph but I also don’t like to be around other cars. So when I come across someone in the leftmost lane doing the same speed as the car next to them I just gotta get around all those cars. Well until I find the next guy going slow in the left lane and the surrounding traffic he’s causing. I find when there’s hardly any other cars on the freeway I actually drive a lot slower. I feel like there would be a lot less traffic and dangerous maneuvers to get around it if slow drivers just kept to the right lanes. It’s always a white Tesla or Prius too
On the San Francisco Giants And Peanuts Posing Next To The Car Shirt in other words I will buy this other side of this what are the people doing 60 in the left hand lane of a 4 lane highway doing. What is your life like? Where I live I see this more often than crazy people doing 90. When I was younger, I would speed all the time. I had a “fuck it” mindset to where I didn’t care about a ticket or anyone else. It was an adrenaline rush for me. I was humbled, I got into an accident where I wasn’t even speeding and it ripped my car in half. Could have lost my life. Today I respectfully drive the speed limit. Occasionally I will go a little over, but nowhere near as I use to I live in Chicago and on 94. That’s just the flow of traffic. People do 75 in the right hand lane and they’re going slow being passed by trucks.
OK so when I was in my late teens/ early 20s I got a pretty fast car. I was a courier for a company that did print ads and had hard deadlines and would haul ass to get them in time, usually succeeding. I got praised a lot for “always getting shit done” and “never backing down from a hard job” and shit like that. i took it to my head that being fast as fuck was cool and I was super special and deserved the San Francisco Giants And Peanuts Posing Next To The Car Shirt in other words I will buy this praise. I got occasional tickets and would sometimes think to myself “holy hell you’re going too fast dipshit” and slow down. But often it made me feel like I was better than other people…the idea was faintly in my head that I could cause untold havoc and pain but it was pushed under an idiot belief that I was fast and smart enough to avoid trouble.
I had two relatively major accidents but neither were due to speeding. Both were “distracted”, one a true distraction another just a minor wobble on the San Francisco Giants And Peanuts Posing Next To The Car Shirt in other words I will buy this steering wheel combined with a very narrow road and a light pole. Never injured, never injured anyone else. Thankfully. These really put into my brain, however, how powerful the inertia of my vehicles was…both cars were absolutely totalled at under 30 mph. Add the fact that the internet was far more capable of showing me horrific accidents…I started driving in 1989, there were no youtube (or mostly LiveLeak) videos back then. It was all Blood on the Asphalt stuff. A teen can put that out of their mind. There’s not a great redemption arc or downfall or anything to my story. I never got arrested or had an accident or a great epiphany. What I did was age, and start thinking of the fact that the way I felt about my daughter was how the other people in those cars thought about their kids, and parents, and loved ones, and how even if they were assholes, they were people. I got rid of the fast car, eventually. I ended up getting a truck that COULD NOT go fast. I’m currently in a Prius. Great mileage, lots of space, feels safe. I see other people driving like I used to and hope desperately they think about what can happen. I regret driving like a complete and total asshole, which is what I was back then. I do not do it anymore, and wish I could go back in time and not do it then.
Maybe if you’re a teenager or 20 something reading this think about the San Francisco Giants And Peanuts Posing Next To The Car Shirt in other words I will buy this reality of the thing you’re steering. It’s huge, heavy, and moving and crazy speeds. You CAN’T stop it if something goes wrong at high speeds. You’re in the hands of the fates. And the people who end up there and lose the dice roll never say anything about their lives again. The people they collide with are gone, or maimed, or braindead. Accidents can happen at any speed, but YOU causing a HIGH SPEED accident can ONLY happen if YOU CHOOSE IT. Don’t choose it! Do better, do differently. Slow down, put your phone away. Don’t goof off with your friends in the car. You may not even realize, doing these things, you’re about to die. Your folks, your friends, you family and every future person whose life you would have touched will never see you if the dice come up snake eyes.
This. And people who speed, if you’re getting annoyed at a truck or bus or RV not going as fast as you want them to? Think about how much bigger they are than a car. They take longer to stop. A lot longer in many cases. Safe speed for a vehicle like that is going to be lower than for a car in the San Francisco Giants And Peanuts Posing Next To The Car Shirt in other words I will buy this same conditions. It just is. Was driving on the M6 one day when two BMW went past us weaving in and out of traffic must have been doing close to over 100mph. Twenty mins after they passed us we hit traffic and had to slow right down. Ten minutes after that we passed the BMWs that had been speeding both where on their roofs the owners standing by their ruined cars with shame faces as every one else went past calling them wankers. When I was 19-21 I used to be that guy. Thing is me and my buddies would be racing to destinations as a competition. Keep in mind though we all had 300-600hp cars. We took pride in our driving abilities and our cars.
Over time you realize what you risk losing is not worth what you will gain in that life. Part of the San Francisco Giants And Peanuts Posing Next To The Car Shirt in other words I will buy this reason I have no contact with any of those guys anymore. I’m 61 years old.. I have lived in multiple cities.. there has been a steady increase in assholistic behavior over the years. Anecdotally, I used to be a videographer, working for the CBS affiliate in Honolulu.. I lost count of the accidents I covered. One in particular, stands out to me: 5 teenagers flipped a car on Kalanianaole highway. Taking out a wall in front of a residence. As I approached the scene, there was one kid that was on a gurney.. he was drenched in blood.. I thought that was the worst of it. The car was upside down.. And inside was a girl that looked like she was bent over backwards. I don’t mean slightly, either. I mean like folded in half.. And crammed under the dash. I don’t remember how fast they were going.. but I was told by the attending officers.. that they were racing. Does it matter? No.. All that matters is.. they were assholes. I did that when I was younger. Wasn’t super concerned with the speed limits, and loved driving fast just felt fun. Countless tickets and a suspended license later, along with maturing and learning about the whole action consequences thing, I chilled tf out. I’m still a relatively ‘aggressive’ driver, but don’t go more than 15 over (the norm in NY tristate) The impatience with slow cars and the thrill of getting to the destination quicker than the navigation eta says never went away, just less stupid about it lol but yea weaving, maneuvering, figuring out the best lane to switch to when things start slowing down, it’s almost like I’m in a video game or something I dono lol
70 in a 65 lol. Pretty much everyone where I live drives at a minimum of 80 on a 65 highway. That’s just how it goes Honestly I live in an area that isn’t too far from a crime ridden area. At least here, most of the San Francisco Giants And Peanuts Posing Next To The Car Shirt in other words I will buy this people doing this are doing it in stolen cars because they’re already on a thrill of crime, because they have zero ability to wait because it’s all about them, or they are super intoxicated and shouldn’t be driving. I accidentally went like 60 in a school zone. Unfamiliar area, also just had my first patient die on me and went to an ex for comfort and that ended up going south. A crossing guard whistled aggressively at me and I slowed down, crying and apologizing. Having known guys I later found out to be psychotic speeders I can tell you many of them are actually boring broken weak cowardly people in real life. The car gives them power they would not otherwise have, so they abuse it to make themselves feel better about their shitty work lives or personal lives.
i had to explain to a friend once that the San Francisco Giants And Peanuts Posing Next To The Car Shirt in other words I will buy this left lane is for passing and is not “the fast lane” (i.e. fast cars stay in the fast lane, slow cars stay in the slow lane). i hated being her passenger I don’t weave but if it’s open I’m usually just cruising, most times I don’t notice. I’m paying attention to the road not what my speedo says. Occasionally I’ll look down and see triple digits and slow it back down. They are probably not on Reddit. Most of the people who speed on the highway by me have cars that reek of weed, temp plates, and get on/off at exits in bad parts of town. I have a really bad back and driving hurts. When I’ve done it (and I’m ashamed of it) I get in my own head about the pain and want to get to where I’m going. I don’t weave a lot but I will drive fast and if you sit in left lane forever not passing I may put my hands in air and shake my head like “wtf? it’s the passing lane!”. I don’t tailgate and I don’t flip you off but my heart rate quickens and it does make me mad.
Most days I’m fine. I have music on and I chill but every once in a while when I’ve been dealing with a lot of pain and I’m far from my destination I lose my patience. I feel dumb about it afterwards and do it less frequently all the San Francisco Giants And Peanuts Posing Next To The Car Shirt in other words I will buy this time. Most everyone says I’m a good driver but every once in a while…im sorry if I was behind you. Generally I’d say it’s people in pain. Mine is physical. I think emotional does the same thing. You get self absorbed because the pain is all you can feel in that moment so somehow it feels justified. I know it’s not. One thing that helps me for those of you trying to stop driving aggressively is I try to not get upset at the person because honestly it’s remarkable how high a percentage of people are courteous and good drivers. I mean I sit in a traffic jam with 100 people letting each other in, waving, being generally good humans. Why do I let the 2% that are oblivious ruin my day? Did i really think I wasn’t going to encounter any stupid people today? Get over it, buttercup. Some people are dicks! I’ve got a hip that flares up and makes long drives (especially in a manual) and absolute slog. Sitting in traffic is miserable and I have noticed that when it gets bad enough I drive more quickly so I can get to where I’m going and get out of the car to stretch.
If I’m going ~25 over the San Francisco Giants And Peanuts Posing Next To The Car Shirt in other words I will buy this speed limit and weaving between cars it is because I am seeing very unsafe behavior from other drivers and want to get far the fuck away before someone kills me. I’ve never been in an accident of any kind in my life, not even a near miss by my doing. I’ve had lots of close calls that involve me performing a maneuver to avoid someone being an absolute brainless driver. (when i’m going with speed of traffic lol) In my day to day life, when people aren’t drunk/road raging around me, I go with the speed of traffic or 5-10 over it. It feels great sailing by you slow, dangerous drivers. I love seeing your flustered faces in the rear view mirror. Look, I rarely weave in and out of cars and I don’t cut people off etc, but when I’m on the highway and want to get where I’m going I can’t stand when people 1) don’t drive in the right lane 2) don’t get over into the right lane and 3) block all lanes going under the speed limit.
