Ultimately, you need to decide if the I love My Shih Tzu star vintage shirt Additionally,I will love this risk of getting fired for this is high and if so whether the trip is worth that. Your company won’t remember a week later that you didn’t show up for work, but your family will remember 20 years later that you didn’t show up for the trip The reason an employee taking those days off “should work” is because you are an overachiever employee and can take up the slack from others. The reason why you can’t take that day off is because multiple others are already counting on you to take up their slack. There is a well-circulated mental list of employees in my department at my job of people that it doesn’t matter If they show up or not. They can be late, absent, slacking-whatever- their employment is irrelevant because it makes no difference whether they are there or not. It’s unbelievable that as Manu costs as we’ve had to cut, these people retain employment. To be honest the fact that you have to even stress out about taking a freakin 1.5 day vacation is INSANE. Go spend some time with your family because you can always find a new job. You can never find a new family Fact is that most supervisors/managers don’t have many leadership traits if any at all. Due to that, they push blame for their mistakes to their subordinates. You can’t say “yes” with months notice and then enforce a “no” later on. I’ve ASKED employees if they can reschedule but if they can’t, I assure them that it’s ok and I’ll work it out. As a subordinate employee, you should NEVER feel guilty for your superior’s mistakes no matter how hard they try to make you feel that way. If your boss tries to issue punishment, sign nothing, and use company policy to your advantage by making your complaint with higher management. As you got a verbal affirmation but not a written approval, the boss will try to use that against you. Counter with “the lack of timely written response indicates disorganization, unprofessionalism, and a need for leadership training.” Make it clear that your advanced noticed was due to the advanced planning and preparation needed for this trip.

Don’t give a speech or drawn out explanation. Keep it simple. ‘I submitted notice of my vacation in March. Reservations have been made and paid for.’ Don’t challenge or offer to change if they do anything, just take your vacation and enjoy it. If there is even the I love My Shih Tzu star vintage shirt Additionally,I will love this slightest bit of tension, make sure you communicate in writing and save the correspondence. It isn’t your job to ask for days off and wait until the week before to make plans. You did exactly your job in notifying them with ample time. They refused to hire/train/plan for your very temporary absence. This is 100% on them. Don’t give a speech or drawn out explanation. Keep it simple. ‘I submitted notice of my vacation in March.
