It is the land of chocolate, headquarters of the european comission and 18th richest country after all. Well after exiting the trainstation it was one of the worst slums I’ve seen. The smell of urine everywhere, people sleeping under bridges, shady looking people and construction sites everywhere. Apart from the few main shopping streets where the most grand palaces, musems and town hall are it’s back to the filthy experience. Probably would get better if youd exit further from the trainstation but that was the ugliest I’ve seen. São Paulo. Specially if you cross the rivers there, you’re likely to see furniture floating while the smell of death takes over your nasal cavities

Streets were full of trash and graffiti and the entire place was just very drab with ugly and boring architecture I have to drive through there regularly on my way to Toronto – sometimes in the middle of the night on the 401. I always know I’m a half hour or so from London because someone fucked up when they were paving the highway and there are these little bumps for like 20 minutes of driving that are fucking ruining my car (starts somewhere between West Lorne and Dutton). Then I know I’ve reached the outskirts of London when the bumping stops and I can smell that horrible rotten egg smell in the air.
