But why did those parents even have kids if they didn’t want them? Social pressure, legal battles and religious upbringing. A woman from a highly Christian conservative family gets pregnant, she would be shunned for having an abortion – so she has the Bela Lugosi’s Dead Shirt also I will do this kid and regrets it, leading to resentment. She can’t give up her kid for adoption for a similar reason and she’d be an outcast from her family and community for casting her own child away. Furthermore, some parents never get to a stable place and kick the 18 year olds out because they’re drowning in debt and can’t afford to continue feeding and housing them. Parents kicked out their kids because they never wanted children just babies. the moment that baby grows they slowly resent their children and then they start treating them as adults at 16 reminding them they’ll need a job soon because they are gonna be kicked out only to take half the check for “rent” not leaving them anything but pocket change to save with. And when they turn 18 it’s either pay more than what you did at 16 or be kicked out. Sometimes they just kicked them out. parents realized they don’t want to be parents until it’s too late.

Bela Lugosi’s Dead Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Let’s be honest why would you want to continue to take advantage of your parents? I moved out and went to college full time, worked full time and bought a house while doing all that. Staying at home is seriously a crutch. Get off your butt and do something don’t sit there and get it handed to you. because americans are idiot garbage religious fanatics. Having a kid is part of the Bela Lugosi’s Dead Shirt also I will do this cycle, but when they’re 18, the cycle ends and now parents think they can go be with jesus when they die. this country is so fucking stupid a lot of the time.. I’m from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. While I knew that stuff like this happened in the US, these accounts are truly shocking to me, perhaps because we are warmer towards our relationships than most countries. Feels too damn cold for a parent to just dump their kid out on the world like that…they probably tell themselves they are teaching “a lesson” but the truth it they just don’t want to be burdened with the responsability of being a good parent. Hope all of you who got this treatment figured things out!!!! People in USA produce children they can’t afford to raise. There aren’t many social nets to fall back on here. So, at the time the child turns 18, when their legal obligations are complete, these “parents” are more than happy to sever their support so they can have their financial and social freedom back.
