For those that say this ending sucked, after 4 seasons with these despicable characters did you want or expect the BACK TO THE RUMBLE Shirt Furthermore, I will do this Roy kids to unite and defeat the bad guy with the power of love and friendship? It was never going to end that way. The irony of Roman having the happiest ending, he’s free he’s able to move on and he knows it, and it’s cathartic, he was clearly the one most abused by his father, seeing Kendall throwing a tantrum and Shiv trying to manipulate everyone again made him wake up for good. Maybe, but I don’t know if you come back from spending 40 years chasing after one singular thing, get it systematically promised to and then taken from you, get to the one yard line, and get it taken again by your own family after finally coming together. Like yeah it’d be nice if he sighed and thought “well, guess I can focus on creating something for myself now”, but that’s not how he works… It’s wishful thinking to say this is a good ending for him imo

Yeah he’s so obsessive and addictive in his behavior patterns too. I don’t see how he turns this into a moment of unfettering for himself. The negatives are much more present. I took Colin’s looming presence behind him to symbolize that he would always be haunted.
