9 years with my partner and it has never occurred to either of us to be suspicious or upset about any of our friendships. My two best friends are men. His best friend is a woman. I wouldn’t be with someone that this was completely chill and normal to. So my boundary is somewhere in between. While trust is the biggest thing, there are still behaviours that may put unnecessary doubt, that are completely avoidable. My partner putting themselves in potentially tough situations where it’s way more likely than average for their loyalty to be heavily tested, is one of them. I don’t think it’s good for either of us.
