I’d have killed for that. When my daughter was going through it, her preferred school had 4 places and 40 applicants. I doubt it’s much fun for the kid or anyone, but the councils have to make the places available. Which is expensive We’ve come a long way from the days when any child with a disability was put in an institution and managed. Now we expect to be able to teach/coach them in to a society which is getting better at accepting them
