If you don’t want to pursue it with them further you could just wash your hands of it, chalk it up to lesson leaned, and book a shoot when your baby is the adorable squishy age of 8-10 months. We did this and it was the best. I’m sorry you don’t have your newborn shots but maybe one day you’ll look back and laugh at this also, from one ppd mom to another – never let anyone keep you from your crying baby if you want to respond to them.
