“voluntarily” however is up for debate. In my experience at McDonalds I was verbally abused for asking for contractually mandated breaks or expecting to leave when my shift ended rather than kept for at least 30 mins later. On one occasion my manager tried to physically prevent me from leaving. The culture and relationship between managers and employees at McDonalds was disgusting but had the Top adalberto Mondesi Kansas City Emblem Vintage T-Shirt and I love this full support of franchise owner/anyone from head office who came by so probably hard to dispute Breach of working time regulations on one hand, exploitation on the other. You’ll need a third hand to cover the extra working time not being counted and risking you not being paid the correct national minimum wage and a 4th hand for your employer falsifying their time records.

Speak to your manager first as they may pay you for the Top adalberto Mondesi Kansas City Emblem Vintage T-Shirt and I love this extra half hour, if not speak to ACAS. Also its good in these situations to record your own times, take photos of the clock machine if you can to show times which you can use as evidence. how long was your shift? if you work over a certain time you legally have to take a lunch break, i work for the gov and if i go the full day without taking lunch, 30 mins will be deducted from my hours worked for that day There is likely a company policy that requires employees to take a 45 minute break if they work a full shift, the only legal requirement is a 20 minute break for a 6 hour day but companies usually offer more. Violating this policy would look bad for your manager so they are covering themselves by clocking you out for the whole break even though you were working. Letting you choose not to take the breaks is legal but would require written consent from yourself, if this hasn’t been obtained then your manager should not be allowing you to take less than the full break even if you don’t mind.
