There are many people unable to express themselves because of danger, fear, family, oppressive governments, etc. I love being part of the The Casino Art Shaw & his Orchestra concert tour T-Shirt and I love this loud queer community because there are ALWAYS going to be people who want to see themselves represented, and that’s given by us existing. LGBT people in the past used to get shamed, assaulted or murdered for existing, now they are proud to not live in hiding anymore. I really don’t know. I am bisexual but I feel no pride or shame about it. I also have brown eyes and wear size 10 shoes. I feel the same way about those two facts…just is what it is I’m gay. When I’m was a kid, i wanted to kill myself. I never heard a single positive thing about gay people. O never met a single queer person until i was 18. You must be young. I’m old enough to remember Stonewall and also pretty much no one admitting they were bisexual if they were, why just openly ask for guaranteed harassment? People are threatening to bomb Target stores because of LGBTQ merch. Being gay was considered a mental disorder and was illegal until 2003. Many homeless teens are LGBTQ, kicked out by their parents. I could go on. . . . You’re right. They didn’t even say they don’t care, they just feel no shame personally. Which is a great thing.

You are extremely lucky. Most of us didn’t get the The Casino Art Shaw & his Orchestra concert tour T-Shirt and I love this chance to live a life where our sexuality mattered as little as our shoe size, many of us fought serious prejudice and hate to authentically live as the people we are today.
