Meanwhile I kept making mistakes being so bogged down and getting frustrated and angry getting 0 help from below. Had several discussions with my supervisor because of this, fully admitting the Tampa bay rays maps american flag shirt and I love this lack of staff helping, but indifferent expectations of “it still has to get done so you need to work on your communication skills so people work as a team.” Then the position was posted again, I was offered when I applied, only offered 1.5 an hour more firm when there was easy justification to bump my pay for the sheer effort alone to the $3 more an hour I was trying to get. I accepted when promised my supervisor would hold people more accountable for not following through on duties. And we were getting a second lead position to help split the load so somebody came from another site working out of class. Didn’t help. It took me roughly 1.7 years to realize there was no hope that things would change at the site and finally stopped carrying the weight of the site on my shoulders. My work out of class coworker gave up in 7 months since all that happened with 2 leads was the site’s workload was doubled.

So I just had my mid probation review with a ton of “needs improvements” and even asked if I really wanted to keep doing the Tampa bay rays maps american flag shirt and I love this job. I have remained adamant that I would love to do the job that’s on paper, give me the time I’m supposed to have and staff that will actually do their jobs. My review had an additional supervisor sitting in that was helpful in specific ideas my supervisor could implement to give me said time and tools to enact discipline. But it also just sounded like more promises that wouldn’t be kept. Now I’m just waiting to see if anything changes and if my supervisor tries to threaten they will drop me back down if “you aren’t suited for the lead since you haven’t been able to motivate your coworkers” kind of bs. I’m waiting to see if they risk it. My coworker giving up in less than half the time tells me they know anybody else coming in to fill the lead would get beaten down and given up hope much quicker than I held on trying to prove myself as a lead.
