I looked into this once since that is how I get paid, and what I found in my state is that rounding is legal. But it is absolutely not legal to use it to favor the Stoney Creek High School Class Of 2024 shirt What’s more,I will buy this employer. In other words, he can’t get upset that you came in 2 minutes late. It’s a great job though! That’s literally my only issue with him and the job! I want a legal way to “stick it to the man” haha Do not walk away from an apprenticeship because some person on the Internet told you to. Stick it out, get your certifications, and go work for someone who won’t be up your ass about two minutes of lost time. This will wear you down tho that’s the issue. It adds up after awhile and the problems don’t go away with people who count your every breath at work.

That’s true. My coworkers are on the Stoney Creek High School Class Of 2024 shirt What’s more,I will buy this same page as me and we are all trying to figure out how to use our breaks to our advantage This is pretty messed up. Your boss has bad labor practices and no incentive to change if everyone complies. Look up the basic labor laws and comply to those. If you take your paid break in the legal timeframe and your boss gets mad, reply with your understanding that you were complying with labor law. If your time is being rounded against your favor, document your time cards and your pay stubs. I believe there’s a year or more statue of limitations, so “serve your time” get a new job and file a claim of wage theft once you’re out. It just doesn’t seem very fair to be constantly looking over your shoulder. GL with your endeavors in this matter! The Buccees gas stations in Texas start you off at $18/hour at the cash register. You’re given a chair, you’re in the AC, the employee discounts on the food and drinks makes your lunch cost just under $3 for a brisket sandwich and a soda. I understand that this current job is a “great job” for you, and it would definitley have more impact on your future career than working a register would, but your working conditions and pay for your skill set seems a little low. There is definitley better opportunities out there for you! Stick it out with your current job for now, ask if there’s any certification training they provide, and start working on your resume. I’m assuming your boss treats your other coworkers like this too, and you do not want to be the last one standing when people start quitting and this shitty manager needs somebody to pick up the slack.
