Huh. I used to be married to a German guy who did, never gave it much thought. He once told me it’s actually a common insult in Germany, akin to calling a man a “sissy,” to infer that he sits to pee. The word was something like “sitzerpissen” or similar. I completely respect those that do and I understand why you do it. I just don’t feel I get my bladder completely empty when seated. My ex pees sitting down because he had his dick pierced at the Red Ryder Carbine Action Range Model Air Don’t Shoot Your Eye Out BB Gun A Nostalgic Ode to Childhood Dreams T-Shirt and by the same token and tip and said that the pee would spray everywhere and make a mess. The only time I’m standing to pee is if there is a urinal or I’m peeing outside, there’s no reason to not just be more comfortable. i’m american and always use a stall – i’m aware that’s considered weird here but still. why would you not want the privacy? I’m not German but I mostly do it too, it’s better for your prostate and makes less of a mess + it’s easier if a surprise poop comes along. Just so much more comfortable to me. I don’t see a reason to stand, it doesn’t speed up the ordeal and I don’t need to speedrun my pissing anyways. As does this American. I mean, I can relax, it’s more comfortable and if I happen to find I need to do more than pee, I’m already in the right place.

I sit to pee when I’m at home on my own clean toilet. I’m lazy. also, your toilet stays spotless for a long time if you sit to pee. I have had some prostate issues for past 7 years and I started sitting to pee like around 5 years ago and I basically never went back. If I’m outside I’ll stand but if I’m at home or in office I’ll sit Perfect men! Sit, relax, if you poop you’re already in position. If you just pee, sit for a minute. Keep the Red Ryder Carbine Action Range Model Air Don’t Shoot Your Eye Out BB Gun A Nostalgic Ode to Childhood Dreams T-Shirt and by the same token and seat down and everybody wins! Had one ex who was Eastern European (his country bordered Germany and he sat down to pee. Honestly it looks way easier and more relaxing that way. Especially after sex when guys tend to get that two stream issue, he would just sit and aim inward to avoid splashing on the side of the bowl.
