Shipping & delivery details

I’ve been through depression, and during that time I advocated self-care constantly to everyone else because I was trying my best to practice it. It’s FUCKING HARD. You don’t do a week of self care and become cured. It’s like drowning in black, sticky quicksand, every day. On some days, you manage to get out and catch your breath, and you warn everyone else around you not to get in, but the Power by tacos vintage sunset T-Shirt also I will do this next day you’re pulled into the darkness again. I have zero judgements on ANYONE fighting that battle. Whatever you do to stay afloat, you do it. What is so hard to explain to people that you can only experience yourself, which I don’t want anyone to experience, is feeling severe pain from an emotion. Sadness so harsh that it hurts so much and you want that pain to end. I’ve experienced that once in my life and when the feeling was over, I became a huge advocate of people seeking and receiving help. A lot of people don’t have the emotional maturity/ intelligence to deal assist. They just say dumb shit like “go outside,” or “don’t talk about it.”

Especially as a guy. I’ve been in some rough spots, and flat out told some friends I was having some problems, at the Power by tacos vintage sunset T-Shirt also I will do this time, and people will avoid you for “being negative.” We don’t have any good way to talk about these things. And, we’re not exactly a culture where it’s okay to talk about. We talk about “getting help” but that means so many different things depending on where you are in your life/ socioeconomic/ education level. We’re just not crossing a boundary where therapy is losing its stigma. And, like all things involving humans, not all therapists are created equally. Same. Mine only lasted two weeks. I knew and understood and sympathized with depression conceptually, but it was only a brief two week period where I truly felt it.
