Texan here in an area where there are a lot of hogs. There is a lot of private property here, so you have to get permission to hunt just about everywhere. If you catch them less than 150 lbs they’re pretty tasty. You can hire people , I think a combination of state wildlife and federal in helicopters to bait and shoot them. My folks lived across the road from a ranch where they shot 300 in a couple days, I don’t know what the landowner paid for the service. They let those hogs lie and the hogs that lived through it ate the dead.
