I’ve only recently started shopping from Marine Layer, and have been very pleased with the Official buckle Up Buttercup You Just Flipped My Witch Switch Blood Moon Halloween T-Shirt and I will buy this things I’ve gotten from them so far. Edit to add Peruvian Connection. Quality continues to be excellent, prices have gone up significantly to reflect that. They do a big sale pretty much every end of season, so try then! Agree that the prices are high, but you do get good quality. I got a cashmere sweater there for half price and I really like it. Sign up for their emails and camp for sales. 30% off is pretty common. Target: I never liked how they relegated plus size to the very edge of the shop, with just a few things (usually mixed with maternity). It was not great value, but the things used to at least be cute things I’d want to own. I loved the designer collabs in the early 2010s and felt like it was reasonably simple to find basics there that would last a few years. Now everything is to some level polyester, I don’t like any of their new house brands, and I miss the designer collabs. The ones they do are infrequent and seem poorly advertised – I don’t usually see them until I’m looking for something else. I HATE how they added third party vendors to their website – if I wanted the cheapest of cheap crap, I would go to Amazon!

Lane Bryant – For years Cacique was the Official buckle Up Buttercup You Just Flipped My Witch Switch Blood Moon Halloween T-Shirt and I will buy this only place I’d buy bras, but now they don’t fit me like they used to. The styling for the most part hasn’t changed – a little conservative in the cuts, a lot of loud prints. The stuff I bought there in the past has held up well but I also haven’t bought anything new from LB in years. Torrid – loved them when I was a teenager and they were plus size hot topic, now very meh because they seem to just be making the same few things: disney collabs! Way too much polyester, even in things that don’t need to be polyester! There’s just not many occasions in my life where I feel the need to wear ursala on an extra large peplum plaid top with BADDIE written underneath, y’know? I know its that I’ve outgrown the brand, but with the prices I’m not sure teenagers would buy it today.
