Their socks are okayish. The corduroy work shirt from the men’s section is really comfy and much better quality than comparable items I’ve seen in many other shops around town (these seem to be trendy with gen z women right now) The “heattech pile lined joggers” in extra long made sure I survived this winter. Super comfy and warm. Make sure to get the long ones if you’re in doubt. Overall Uniqlo has a good price/quality ratio, but quality does vary. It’s a good brand for those who like a relaxed fit. Uniqlo Asia is good for short people, maybe up to 160cm for women, Otherwise everything is very short on you. Uniqlo Europe has different sizing from Asia, but I still wouldn’t go there for fitted items if you’re especially tall. I can agree with all your points though I don’t wear heattech or Airism underthings anymore, I find they trap sweat and I’m a person with a gene that makes my sweat smell bad, living in a society of people who do not have this gene, so I have to do what I can lol. The camisole bra tops however (especially the cotton ones from the Mame Kurogouchi collab) are very nice in summer. They make me more…perky than I prefer (I wear lots of oversized clothes so generally prefer a more natural shape), but they last well and fit nicely and are also great for here in Japan where it’s not quite socially acceptable to wear a deep v-neck top without a conservative camisole underneath. For some reason Uniqlo doesn’t make many bra tops in human skin colors tho which limits their usefulness in my opinion. Seconding Uniqlo men’s. The wool shackets from the Jil Sander collab were really great. I’ve had mine for three years now and it doesn’t even pill, I don’t get it. Jackets and overshirts in general are good, also the tshirts.

I would say avoid the Awesome day Time Drinkers Of America South Dakota Chapter T-Shirt Apart from…,I will love this stupid rayon+linen blend fabric things they have out now in the summer. It can look nice on the hanger but it looks worn, sad, and loses its shape after just a few washes. Def not worth paying full price for. Overall I think the best Uniqlo things are in the designer collabs, though recently even those have been questionable, best to touch/try things on before buying. I’m so salty because Uniqlo stopped making the cotton boyshort underwear! It was like all I wore and they just fully discontinued it. I haven’t found a replacement yet I LOVE Parade underwear! And lounge pants! But their underwear are top notch and they have a variety of styles, including boyshorts Uniqlo is my go to brand for trousers and basics as you say. I find that they usually have a good selection of trousers in different cuts and fabrics, consistent sizing and good quality, plus the fact that they do complimentary hemming is a great add on for me as a short person. White House Black Market used to be my go-to for shirts I’d wear for work. They looked flattering but work appropriate, good quality that lasted years and years, generally a very reliable store. Incredibly expensive but considering how much use I would get out of a piece it was worth it over the long term, especially if you got stuff on sale. But for the past year and a half, when I’ve been going to work in person more and would like a wardrobe update, I haven’t found anything I’d pay what they’re asking for. The designs are more misses than hits and the prices are just too high, and the fabric of the last couple things I’ve tried on there were unpleasant to the touch. So I’m not the most stylish. (I come here to get advice not to give it lol) but my husband turned me on to Kohls and their in-house brand has served me well the past few years. Their jeans fit me and are soft and comfortable and don’t slip off the butt. Their baby clothes cannot be beat, so every cute stuff that is always on sale.
