Not a teacher, But I am part of gen z and you are right. I was always considered a “bright kid” but as I grew up I felt that wasn’t at all true. Despite this there are times where I look at my peers like they are crazy for what they don’t know. But then after reading this I realize that there’s stuff I don’t know either. No specific example here but rather of vocabulary and writing.
