Call out sick for medical reasons. In California at least if they fire you after you can sue as long as you had the Jerry brown car american flag shirt it is in the first place but sick time “You initially approved my request. I have since scheduled and paid for my vacation and am unable to recoup my costs as well as the planned time my whole family has together. I will not be coming into work these days.” I’m glad you are in a position to even think about not going in. Stay the course. Take care of you. If this company and/or manager can’t see that you’re the exact person they should be taking care of, if not everyone, than you have to be the one to. Go, enjoy yourself, and deal with the consequences later. Life is far too short to give bad employers the time of day when we don’t have to. They technically can’t deny the time off since you gave ample notice AND this trip required you to pay in advance: room & boarding and what other expenses that you had to pay in advance for WITHOUT reimbursement of the expenses from their pockets. Fuckem PTO is yours you earned it ill never ask I have always given a notice…I’m not gonna be there

Jerry brown car american flag shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

I’d just tell them it wasn’t a request. PTO is earned timed off. It’s not a PTO request to me. It’s a PTO notice. Figure it out, because I know what I’m doing. Go on your vacation. Do not accept any disciplinary action. You submitted your request months ago and it was verbally approved. The time to deny your request was months ago, not the Jerry brown car american flag shirt it is in the first place but week before. In most cases I wouldn’t do this, but in your case, I would simply not respond and let her realize she fucked up by realizing you’re not there. Please update on whether or not you replied! No. Don’t bring up disciplinary actions. It’s your PTO— never ask! Say that you’re taking the time and that they need to make arrangements. The vacation is booked, and if it was so problematic for them staff-wise, they should’ve checked earlier.
