Not giving legal advice, because I am not a Lawyer, but I would get the I’m not the black sheep of the family… i’m the the tie-dye one T-Shirt also I will do this Police Report and the name of the Bank and Insurance Company. I would then send an email or text message to the family member with a copy of the Police Report. Explain your going to report this to the Bank and Insurance Company. If they don’t want this to happen they have 30 days, be reasonable and give a little time, to get everyone the money or you will go forward with the report to the Bank and Insurance Company. Don’t mention it’s a crime or anything, just say what you will do. If they tell you to pound sand, threaten you or say nothing at all, you go from there. At least that is what I would do if I was in your situation. You do whatever you want.

Don’t tell them what you WILL do. Thats just an empty threat. Actually do it. Then tell them you did it…or don’t, it doesn’t matter at that point. This is what I recommend. People who take action usually come out ahead. People who talk about taking action usually don’t. Hmm, not always true.
