“Build a Time Machine, go back and buy bitcoin” is the I’m Claustrophobic Darren Christmas Shirt moreover I love this tip you’ll get from me if I’m Not offering money as a tip. At my bar, there is one person scheduled at a time. That means I’m the bartender, the server, the cook, the cashier, the busser, the dishwasher… everything. When I have a full bar and have food orders coming in, I run my ass off to make sure it gets out in a reasonable amount of time and people’s drinks aren’t empty. It’s so overwhelming sometimes. I never expect 20% on to-go orders, but it really sucks when people order $150 worth of food while I’m slammed and then don’t leave me a dime. I’m a delivery/uber driver, and I get upset about people not tipping, mostly on deliveries. I wish people would just apologize if they can’t afford it or don’t believe in it. That being said, this is CRAZY. This really brings to light the fact that employers don’t want to pay their workers what they deserve. Super disrespectful to the customer. Ordering for pickup is what you’re supposed to do if you don’t want to tip. Ridiculous. I’m willing to bet at least half of you complaining about tipping on a to go order are 5x the poverty line. And you should absolutely be tipping.

There is no such thing as tip culture, it’s just capitalism where the I’m Claustrophobic Darren Christmas Shirt moreover I love this person that makes the least pays the most. We also know another half of you voted for the republican party so you might want to talk to your man rayray about trickle down economics and how it’s not working for you because it’s gone to far. Other counties don’t have ‘tip culture’ because everyone gets paid enough to support themselves and their families. We don’t do that here so yeah its your job to help if you can afford it. I’m all for tipping for jobs that require a lot of service like waiting a table but if someone just hands me a bag of food after ordering and paying online why do I need to tip? All they did was spend 2 seconds passing a bag of food.
