He still had some “seizure-like” activity when born. I definitely felt it was my fault because I needed the meds. He ended up growing out of the “seizure-like” activity. He was on Keppra for a few months but we were eventually able to get him off it completely and he’s doing totally fine! my sisters is on zoloft and just had a baby… he shiver randomly all the time and its hard making up excuses to other family members without telling the truth and having them worry about the baby. He is 3 months old now and still ok. This is her 4th baby and from her past experiences I know that her post postpartum was extreme and worrying. Your health is so important because you are one of the only people to take care of your baby. I would do research and ask more questions to stop your worries. OP I’m sorry but it might have been safer than trying to wean while you are pregnant. Your baby might find it comfortable to be worn, being close can help co-regulate! I am sorry to hear you were not warned of this OP. I work with new babies and yes, this is definitely a thing. The good news is that it’s very self limiting. Lots of skin to skin can help. Also, you need to reset your expectations of what the first couple weeks are going to be like. Please do not think you’re going to get anything done, or accomplish anything. Just rest and take care of yourself and your baby. Lots of snuggling can help many babies.
