The people at the address simply signed with the name on the box – my name. I had no clue, until the company calls the next day and asked what I thought of tools. I contact FedEx. Next day FedEx tells me the people at the address are refusing to give the package up. FedEx Fairbanks won’t tell me the address – and – refuse to report it to the police. FedEx says they have a signature and that is ‘good enough for them’, if I have an ‘issue’ with that to go file a claim. Small town. I talk to police. Next day I get the box – opened of course – tools there just missing the hats and swag.

I live on a clearly marked street with 4″ house numbers clearly visible. I work for amazon and there is a way in the app to say that it was delivered to the wrong address. I’ve had it happen multiple times before and I work for them. Why are people such AHs?!? I don’t understand why people are so quick to rip people off. We got a package for a previous occupant of our home. We could have marked it return to sender, but my husband googled the person, and tried to call them. They didn’t answer, so he drove across town and left it on their doorstep. They never called back…lol. One time, FedEx dropped off a huge package…and it wasn’t addressed to anyone in our household. I googled and found the recipient. She was so grateful because the package was an expensive artificial floral arrangement for her mother’s grave.
