If she’s really needing that sleep you should try contact nap. You may be tight up but at least your baby will get that rest that she needs. Same here, except my 3 month old sometimes only naps once in the I work at McDonald’s I don’t stop when I’m tired I stop when I am done baby yoda shirt and by the same token and morning then proceeds to fight every nap for the entire day. She crashes around 9pm and will sleep majority of the night, so I guess that’s ok ??‍♀️ My LO is 5 months old and I also thought I had to entertain her until I figured out that she likes to play as soon as she wakes up. So the moment she is up I put her in the baby gym and go do whatever I want. Sometimes she stays there even for 1 hour! Another thing I do is put her in the chair and have her watch me do chores in the house – vacuuming, washing the dishes.. I also give her a few toys to chew on and she is entertained like that. However, after 7pm she can become cranky so I babywear and move around the house. Yes I’m sorry (but also maybe happy) to say that it’s just a personality thing and not anything to do with parenting style. My oldest was 100% like this and then my second was chill to be playing on his own quietly hanging out 90% of his life from day one

Aw my baby was like that at 4 months. she’s 6 months now. Some weeks are easy, some hard. I feel like it’s slowly getting better. I find that getting out of the I work at McDonald’s I don’t stop when I’m tired I stop when I am done baby yoda shirt and by the same token and house helped a lot! I live 20 minutes from nearest town and I would go out almost every day just so I wouldn’t go crazy trying to entertain my kid all day. She’s high needs and low sleep needs so she is awake soooo much and needs so much attention while awake. Omg I feel this. My son only sleeps 30 mins for naps and Is soooo needy during his now 2 hour wake window. I would get out but we only have one car and my husband is gone to work from 6am to 6pm. I literally go nuts every day. There literally are none ? we go for walks when it’s not cold but there’s not much to look at other than trees. Trees are cool! But it sucks when the weather makes being out with the baby difficult. Ours was born in December and she doesn’t know what warm weather feels like yet.
