Her character was doomed the moment The Force Awakens made her into a joke by “killing” her easy. Never gave her a chance to have a character. Don’t worry, she’ll become a fan favorite and eventually get a Disney+ spin off where somehow she has returned and then proceed to assassinate her non-existent character They threw away so much potential story that it is criminal.They completely fucked up the last 3 movies by having no coordination between Abrams and Johnson. I don’t care who you want to pin it on. Abrams and Johnson thought it was a good idea, or they wouldn’t have done the movies. 40 years I waited for a conclusion to my favourite story line of all time and they completely botched it. The movies are fine if they weren’t the end of the saga, but when I realized how long I’ve been waiting for them to come out, I’m disappointed. A character made with a clear attempt to recreate Boba Fett’s runaway popularity but with no understanding on why Boba worked. “Ok, so our research shows that people really liked this character called ‘Boba Fett’ from the original trilogy.” -no, they’ll be mostly just hanging around bad guys. And the first time they get in a fight, they fall to mildly comedic death.
