I don’t think calling somebody fat could ever really help. Fat people already know they’re fat. Telling them is unlikely to make them start working out. I could see how it would be difficult if you’re with a partner and they start gaining a lot of weight and you lose attractiveness to them. In scenarios like that, I could see people lying that they still love the I Ghost People All Year Halloween Shirt and by the same token and way their partner looks even if they don’t. Probably the best way is to encourage them to go to the gym along with you so you can both lose weight or get healthier. Then its less of a them problem and more of a we problem. I am almost underweight and also need the I Ghost People All Year Halloween Shirt and by the same token and noise of a fan at night to sleep. While I would understand if this bothered someone, it’s what I need. If I dated someone who couldn’t sleep with a fan, separate bedrooms would be the answer. But if someone insulted me over this, I wouldn’t expect them to be open to healthy compromises. Helpful solutions aside OP, this move doesn’t seem like a very good idea giving the way she is already treating you over something so basic. Yep! My partner can’t sleep without a fan. I hate having a fan blowing on me. We bought a huge squishmallow and put it between us while we sleep. It works well to block the air for me, and he can still use the fan. Op, my husband has always slept with a fan. Mainly he needs it for the noise. When I first met him, it bothered me a bit because it dries me out. My poor noise would be actually be painful the next morning. But I never ever would dream of telling him he can’t sleep with his fan. So he does his best to point it directly at himself. I’m small enough to basically “hide” behind him so he does block most of it. I’ve really gotten used to it now tho! We live in the country so the silence can be “loud” if that makes any sense lol
