Aside from that ludicrous assertion, you do have a point though: wolves affect other animal populations, not just deer. But that’s not necessarily a bad thing, is it? My friend is fighting hard to save the wolf population but she’s unfortunately failing in an uphill battle. Even when she gets a win in court, the appeals end up stalling for so long that the wolf population gets decimated. People are trapping their land and using bait to draw the wolves in and kill them, then move them off-land to try to cover the illegal kill. It’s really sad. well in some western states like idaho and Montana the wolves have hit their recovery goal (idaho it was voted on to be 150 wolves on the landscape). now control over wolves should be moved to the state to look after wolves and not the feds or the ESA. wolves need to be controlled and managed just like every other critter in these states.

Hey, here’s an idea: Just give hunters a couple extra stamps and forget the Hellboy lil peep aesthetic design shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this dangerous wolves prowling around everywhere. Clearly you don’t live anywhere completely overrun by deer populations due to no natural predators. I do, and a couple extra tags per hunter is literally not going to do shit. Be have some bobcats in the area, but very few, and unfortunately some of our cities encourage killing the bobcats. And now with this concept you can start to understand why “news” companies bombard us and whip us into a frenzy of fear. Tell the 60 year old farmer that that there is a landscape of fear, and that his livestock need to learn the landscape Hunters claim we need to control deer populations…after we encroached into wild territory, leveled it for high class housing, and killed all the predator populations. They fucking know the game, and think everyone else is too stupid to see it. And a lot of hunters just want an excess of deer so every hunt is a success. As a hunter, I’m insulted by the Republicans in the ranks of outdoorsmen everywhere who support the shitty practices of further reducing wild lands and then acting like they’re the solution to the problem they caused. We don’t need more people hunting and more gun sales-we need more wolves, more coyotes, just more predators in general.
