Milt, we’re gonna need to go ahead and move you downstairs into storage B. We have some new people coming in, and we need all the Funny team godzilla sunset monster shirt Apart from…,I will love this space we can get. So if you could go ahead and pack up your stuff and move it down there, that would be terrific, OK? About 2.5 or 3 I’m assuming I’ve only missed one day, every time I try to check my points with a link I get an error Did you do anything shady lately? Stealing? No call no show? If you’re good on points and didn’t steal, I wouldn’t worry. Also as long as you did not switch out the store managers name tag with one labeled shithead and start wearing your managers actual name tag around. Honestly even if you did that they’d just give you a warning at our store. We have a guy who’s literally just leaving while staying clocked in all day and all anyone has done is coached him. And he continues to do it lol I have a friend who told me he has like “75 points rn” idk what that means, but it seems like quite a high number and this post was recommended to me lol. Is this sort of thing how you acquire said points? Points are a system of how fast they fire you, when you miss days, either from no vaca/LOA (leave of absence)/no call no show, you get a half or a full point, it’s supposed to be a specific amount of points but some people rack them up like damn war medals. I showed up for my 4 am shift at Walmart and couldn’t clock in. They told me to go wait in the office. I waited for 30 minutes then told the coach I was leaving. I was not going to sit around until HR showed up at 8 am. She didnt even know I had been fired. The overnight manager was mad as well . I told him I wasn’t going to sit around and not get paid while they waited for HR to show up. I left. HR called me at 715 wondering where I was and told them I was at home. It was illegal for them to make me wait on my own time to tell me I was fired. If they thought I was stupid then they were wrong. I went back up at 8, collected my check, turned in my badge and smock and left. The manager tried to talk down to me for leaving and I shut her down. Told her since I was no longer an employee she could f&)k right off if she thought I was going to sit at work waiting on them and not get paid. She I honestly believed thought it was ok for me to sit there until HR came in for free.

One of my coworkers had only 4 points and was removed from the Funny team godzilla sunset monster shirt Apart from…,I will love this schedule just like that. Came in and was told that she was fired. U should talk to a coach about it. I only had this happen when they were editing the schedule or made a mistake on it, usually right as they were releasing new schedule and once when I did LOA. My Walmart will cut hours to make the “projected labor” look good. So it could just be that? I would def go talk to a coach tho. You’re not answering a lot of questions. Have you been calling out a lot? Have you just not showed up to work? There’s a lot of factors here Wal-mart complains that nobody wants to work and that they have a labor shortage. Then they cut the hours of the people who want to work and fire employees for bullshit reasons. Sounds like a brilliant business strategy. Well, call your coach, team-lead and HR. If your schedule is not fixed somehow in a few days, get ready for a new job. If your job performance is deemed as irreplaceable, your schedule should not be removed. I work as part-time for 3 years and I still get 40 hours per week. Wayyyy back in the day when I was young and late to work all the time Home Depot let me work for approximately four hours and then told me I was terminated for attendance issues. I always wondered why they had me work four hours first and from this thread now I know. OP, sorry if this is what happened to you. Just know there are way better jobs out there. I haven’t worked retail in a long time and for anyone looking to get out of it, insurance claims is a good way to do so. Pays a lot better and you’re going to get a lot better benefits too.
