What happened to you is completely wrong. But don’t be surprised to find such people. There are many who will try to push you down. I remember there was once an uncle who asked me what I’m doing/going to do and i told him animation. He seemed least interested. He asked my other friend what he is doing, and he said IIT. I could see his eyes widened. He complimented him, spoke to him in detail. He seemed least interested in my field. Sometimes people don’t understand our field so they tend to ignore. But on the Drunk Cigs Dont Count Shirt Furthermore, I will do this other side, think before you get into this field. I am currently in this field. Get into it only if you are really very passionate. Otherwise, you won’t be able to survive the pressure and stress. It’s one thing to do things for fun where you have enough time to work. But when it comes down to doing something in less time under pressure you will mostly dread getting into this field in the first place. Like some of them mentioned here, there is not much money in this field, and it’s just going to go downhill from here once AI starts getting implemented in a big way.

Drunk Cigs Dont Count Shirt: buy and enjoy this shirt

All the Drunk Cigs Dont Count Shirt Furthermore, I will do this best to you! Don’t let what people say bother you. Sometimes they just have a very limited knowledge thats all. You can become an animator now only right? Why do you have to wait to “grow up”, assuming you have a PC. Buy a course and show everyone what you can do. This exchange between you and your relatives is just one of many. Get used to it. Big dreams always invoke such remarks. OP just had an imaginary argument in the shower. Seriously this is prime reddit fake rage karma farming material Hey OP just ignore these old folks, aunties and uncles and bhudas they are simply to give opinions, “khud ne to kuch ukhada nahi hota bhaite rahte hai logo ko Gyan dene”. Just ignore don’t waste your time it’s only going to harm you. They probably don’t even mean simply giving opinions and do what you love, what is best for you. This is the sad reality of Indian society. A society of Educated fools. Bhai take this as a motivation to prove then wrong. People will often justify this saying it’ll pay less, keep it as a side hustle” fk all that bruv. You have to be mad resilient and stoic and hard working. And as for the relatives, Don’t ever let no one raise hand on you again. You are a man if someone takes a hand on you and you let that slide, than one day someone will try to harm the pride of your loved ones and you won’t be able to defend them if you’ll let that pass.
The problem with being a self-taught Animator is that the Drunk Cigs Dont Count Shirt Furthermore, I will do this process will take a lot of time (in years) to master Animation without any guidance. Edit: Same with guidance but it will take significantly more time when self learning. Here is a link to an awesome YT creator, ‘RobynO’ who encourages people like us to perceive animation without any paid/expensive course or degree Link: you want to become Animator quicker AND you have the financial backing then I will suggest you to check AnimSchool. It’s the least expensive option out there also similar quality of education quality. Link: animation. 1 module cost me Rs.1.4Lakh in Dec 2023. So for 8 modules it will cost you around Rs.12Lakhs.

Description for Drunk Cigs Dont Count Shirt

Be sure to discuss with your family, family support will be essential throughout your Animation learning journey. I swear these old uncles don’t know what technology is. A sr scientist at drdo asked me how do I send my software that I worked on to the Drunk Cigs Dont Count Shirt Furthermore, I will do this US They say STEM careers only yet they watch tv all day long, obsess over clothing and jewelry, etc. They take part in everything in life, but they don’t see anything value in the people that create the world they live in. Ignore such fake well wishers so called auntys and so called uncles .even I wanted to be an artist. But I don’t tell that to my relatives These people don’t know any better. But still act like they know everything. There’s only one response to this sort of thugs. Be a successful animator. Tell them people do PhDs in animation to work at the Disneys and pixars that pay way more than the usual engg jobs I am not saying what they did was right but I want to be sure if you really researched into the feasibility of being an animator. It needs dedication and unmatched consistency to make even a short clip. Next time something like this happens, start laughing at their suggestions .. by the time they find it in them to respond to your laughter, walk away … It will be a torture for them…
O man animation is a really difficult job and my hobby. Also, I recommend don’t stick to it, stay flexible. Good luck I don’t even let my parents slap me so i would’ve absolutely broke that lady’s face. Don’t let anyone tell you that your dream is dumb .Don’t get demotivated by those peoples words. Hope you become animator someday Why do you care what’s their opinion, i used to believe best thing among today’s kids is they usually don’t give fuck if everything is figured out. Stop whining ,in few years buy a car and some expensive shit make sure your parent send them the Drunk Cigs Dont Count Shirt Furthermore, I will do this photos they will explode out of hatred. It may be 4-5 years from now when you start earning but believe me it’s very short duration especially to those who are into 40s- 50s. 11 more replieswe know that other people words hurt. Thats human nature.Do you know what is the other best thing in human nature, not to take it to heart. Heart never listens to naysayers. Only our brain does. So as long as you are stronger in your heart and your heart is set out to do what it takes to become an animator. Then go for it.
now comes the Drunk Cigs Dont Count Shirt Furthermore, I will do this brain part, since our brain processed all those words and got our feeling hurt because we couldnt get back to them with a reply at that moment. let the brain calm down – listen to music, watch animations you like, make the brain focus on your goal instead of trying to play the incident again in your head with all possible combinations of replies or just getting disheartened by thinking about it. surround yourself with thoughts and people who are positive about your goal and let the time heal and make you move forward.
After living for some time in a country where people don’t really care much about how you look including style or grooming, I moved to a country where people really care about how they are perceived and will go the Drunk Cigs Dont Count Shirt Furthermore, I will do this extra mile to always look put together and stylish. This resulted in me going grocery shopping in my PJs and perceiving a difference in the quality of service and overall consideration from other people. After switching to a more polished outfit, styling my hair and adding a touch of makeup, service workers became instantly nicer and started addressing me as ”madam”. Not that I really care (I will still go out in my PJs if I have to) but now I know I should be more strategic about my appearance in this place.
What are your experiences? Do you consciously choose what to communicate through your outfits and style or do you go with what is comfortable/easier for you? How do you use this concept to your advantageI dress however I want and somehow always get comments about looking like a librarian I’ve never seen a librarian who doesn’t look utterly at ease with their clothes and, frankly, life, so that sounds like a compliment! For better or worse, I do think how you dress is you telling the Drunk Cigs Dont Count Shirt Furthermore, I will do this world how to perceive you. It’s dumb in some ways and empowering in others. I agree with this. I am autistic, and I use appearance as one of my more important tools to “manipulate” (can’t think of a less yucky-sounding word for what I mean) interactions with people who I don’t know super well. As sucky as it is, people treat me better when I am cute. They are more forgiving of my oddities and my mistakes in social interaction. I know this, and I just go ahead and use it to my advantage. At work and meeting new friends, when I’m going to a nice store and want good service, and just generally when I want better treatment and more social forgiveness, I have a tool that costs me no extra in-the-moment energy to give me automatic points in others’ perception of me, and I need everything I can get.
On the Drunk Cigs Dont Count Shirt Furthermore, I will do this flip side, if I’m going to a grocery store or on a walk and I have no energy to interact with people, I become practically invisible when I dress down and look frumpy. I appreciate being able to use my appearance to in situations when I don’t have energy for people to go under the radar or signal that I’m not worth paying attention to. It’s a bit horrible what all this says about society: people assign more value to attractive people, people are less ableist towards attractive people, and people actively avoid less attractive people. But for me, who struggles all the time with ableism and society in general anyway, having my appearance as a tool to make up for some of the difficulties I experience is extremely useful and empowering.
I don’t exactly dress conventionally, especially as an older millennial whose peers tend to lean towards more minimal and unembellished styles. I wear a lot of bright colors, bold prints, unusual flourishes, and embrace absurdity rather than aiming to look polished. For the Drunk Cigs Dont Count Shirt Furthermore, I will do this most part it’s fine. Do I get looks? Absolutely. Do I get aggressively negative attention? Not at all. Do I have grown-up drag on hand for when it really matters? Of course. I’m bucking social norms as a bigger woman in my late 30s not fading into the background and some people are going to disapprove. I’m also aware that there’s a degree of privilege in dressing how I do and it takes a great deal of confidence and self assurance that I’ve worked hard to build.
Agreeing with this, as another 30something altfashion fan. It’s always stood out to me, both on FFA and IRL, that negative attention (especially from strangers) is something people cite as being a dissuading factor in them not wearing certain styles, because in my experience it is very, very, very rare (at least in the Drunk Cigs Dont Count Shirt Furthermore, I will do this US metro areas I’ve lived in/frequent). Like incredibly rare. I can count on one hand the number of mean/negative experiences I’ve had because of my fashion over the course of two decades of wearing alternative styles, and I go out a lot. I think the meanest thing anyone ever said to me was “it’s not Halloween yet” lmfao which is pretty low on the mean scale I’ve also gotten “it’s not Halloween yet” but for like, idk a plain black t-shirt and a simple choker. They clearly had no clue what was going on anyways, so I really didn’t care
Yes! I live rurally in a conservative area, but less than an hour from a notoriously liberal, artsy small city. My outfits and general look- piercings, tattoos, etc definitely stand out, but also touch on a nerve about people moving in from the Drunk Cigs Dont Count Shirt Furthermore, I will do this city and changing things. So I’m kind of treated stand off ish and a little resentful. That said, I’m usually with my toddler twins, who are very precocious and frankly adorable so that will often disarm people, so it’s not long before we’re exchanging tips on raising chickens and stories about the bear cubs terrorizing the garbage cans. I have started wearing my wedding band though, people notice when I don’t and I’ve been offered charity after being perceived as a single mother, lol
I’ve been chastised on evaluations under “professionalism” for wearing dresses and skirts to work despite them being long and with close toed shoes and in an office environment (no chemicals, etc) I realized that those people felt I was not a serious person. My “boss” said that she felt like i was going on a date when I was wearing a long sleeve sweater dress. (Yet there were others wearing short skirts and didn’t get comments from her). It has been a tricky line to walk. My husband I actually put together a bunch of outfits with pants that would say something about my vintage loving personality but also look not too out of place, before I went to a different clinic to work. I still gets comments all the Drunk Cigs Dont Count Shirt Furthermore, I will do this time but compliments. It makes me still a bit uncomfortable because my interest in dressing how i like is to “disappear” in my clothes, feeling so comfortable and confident in myself that I can focus on helping my patients.
Once, my new boss said “I could hear you coming” because my low heeled shoes made a sound when everyone else wear sneakers and I know he didn’t mean anything ill by it but it still kind of bothered me. I’ve found a balance now since people know me at work as a serious dedicated person. As a result, i can wear some more colourful things and interesting things sometimes and no one bats an eyelash. I feel like it’s a thing that women face in medicine that men don’t. The guys I know get lauded for their “fun socks.” So yes, every day I think about when I put this on what does this say about me to this particular setting I’m going to. Ugh women are judged no matter what they do. My coworker just received negative feedback from our (male) boss about dressing more professionally. He suggested she dress more like another woman we work with who wears dresses, heels, and a full face of makeup. So frustrating. Dress more androgynously = not feminine. Dress feminine = not serious enough. Meanwhile no one bats an eye about guys coming to work wearing their jordans. Omg. You just unlocked a memory of when I was 17 and working at Aldo at the Drunk Cigs Dont Count Shirt Furthermore, I will do this Prudential in downtown Boston. It was a new store and we all got pulled from surrounding stores. Our staff was like a United Colors of Benetton ad, extremely racially diverse. One day our Asian male boss berated the Black college girl for showing up barefaced, made a bunch of borderline racist commentary then sent her home after he made her cry for not wearing a full face and heels to work. Goddamn I hate that I have this memory.
ETA: our stockroom was tiny but tall and all the Drunk Cigs Dont Count Shirt Furthermore, I will do this stock required climbing ladders to reach the boxes. This mptherfucker wanted us doing this in 4in heels!! Oh I hate that comment on the sound of your footsteps. God forbid women make noise. I love the sound of my heels click clacking on my way to and at work. I wear shoes with a loud heel on purpose sometimes, when I expect I will need to be reminded that I’m strong and capable and should confidently take up space. It can be grounding in some weird way. All the time. It’s the tension between your authentic self and the image you want or need to project that makes it so hard to get dressed in the morning. I would never sacrifice one for the other but they’re not always easy to combine. And the shoes have to be comfortable too, and you have to think about the weather. Not sure how I make it out of the house some mornings tbh.
Especially when imo they’re totally linked. Like if I think I’m sending one message projecting my authentic self but it’s being received completely differently, to me that means I’m not actually projecting my authentic self. One example, I just moved from DC to NYC. While living in DC I felt I had to tone down my fashion a lot, because what I felt was a stylish fun outfit would get some negative attention and mostly I just felt out of place. I want to be “stylish but approachable” I guess. So I started toning it down and while I was somewhat stifled it was better because I was being perceived more how I wanted so I was in that sense more “me.” Now in NYC I’m trying to course correct because my outfits are bland compared to what I’m seeing and I feel much less myself in the Drunk Cigs Dont Count Shirt Furthermore, I will do this same clothes.
Lmao. The two main commitments fashionwise in DC are 1) don’t look edgy, 2) don’t try too hard. Subcultures notwithstanding This is really insightful. Since my goal is to put my personality across through my clothing, I have to consider what that would mean to the Drunk Cigs Dont Count Shirt Furthermore, I will do this people receiving me. I’m in Seattle, a fairly casual city, and I find my sweet spot by dressing up somewhat but not going hard on the more wacky details or silhouettes. I suspect if I were in a place like NYC I’d increase all that a bit, but here I’d end up coming across as more extreme than I am. Glad you thought so! And fwiw I do think these things can evolve to some extent, and perhaps that’s something that can be influenced by dressing just outside of the Overton window of fashion (at least that’s what I told myself in DC) I’ve always dressed too young for my age. As time goes on it’s catching up with me and the two images are lining up.
I spent some time in Montreal recently. I found that wait staff, people who work in fancy shops/museums size you up quickly and decide if they should make an initial address in English or French. If I was dressed more fashionably, I got French. If I was dressed more plain/frumpy, I got English. I am totally English speaking from the Drunk Cigs Dont Count Shirt Furthermore, I will do this US, no French. Was an interesting experience. But no matter if I got English or French everyone was very polite and helpful. I love Montreal. ? Yup I live in Montreal and go to a university that has a lot of students from the rest of Canada or American. I can usually tell if someone isn’t from here just based on the way they dress which is a lot more casual Really? I don’t know I feel like Montreal is so eclectic, I can’t really categorize people as there’s a thousand categories lol. From the US but have lived in Western Europe – and yes, it is freeing! It’s honestly so nice to not have to think about what you wear if you just want to go run a quick errand lol. I don’t actively wear pjs out of the house, but definitely dress extremely casually when running errands and never feel out of place
