I love Bojack Horseman but there’s a character in it who works for the Bird once I get an attitude it takes me 3 5 business days to fix my face shirt also I will do this BBB and it’s portrayed exactly like that that dumb boomer misconception of it being some sort of government consumer protection agency. There doesn’t appear to be any awareness of how inaccurate this is, the inaccuracy isn’t played for humour or anything, and it grinds my gears and I have to skip all the bits about it upon rewatches. lol Funny enough a lot of companies still take it really seriously for some reason. You can still get a lot of them to take immediate action by filing a report on the bbb site State attorneys general will apparently look over BBB reports when considering complaints against a company, so, while some complaints are irrelevant, a frequently recurring theme can have (tangential) repercussions. I wouldn’t look to the BBB for credible reviews and such, but they seem great at getting disputes with companies resolved. I’ve filed a claim with them a few times when I couldn’t get anywhere with a company after weeks or months of contact and most of my claims were solved within days. I do stand by that they’re basically boomer yelp, but they can be helpful at times.

Bird once I get an attitude it takes me 3 5 business days to fix my face shirt: Show Your Love with Style

The better business bureau is a private company, not any sort of government or regulatory service. They have no power other than being a loudmouth for people to see, which is effective, but ultimately they have no power other than publicly shaming. I feel like this shouldn’t be as complicated as it is „Oh oops looks like I accidentally took $1,005 more from you than I charged“ „Oh would you look at that. Are you gonna give it back?“ „Well, I think whether you’re entitled to the Bird once I get an attitude it takes me 3 5 business days to fix my face shirt also I will do this money that I just blatantly stole from you is something that should be discussed with a legal professional“ I was almost chagred $95 for an 8 piece box of chicken the other day. The person at the deli counter typed in the price wrong, and the cashier checking me out didn’t connect the dots when all I had was that and some bread when she uttered $95. Took her a sec, but she eventually got there. Yo navy federal decided to let me take a $500 fraud charge. I was shocked, in 8 years I had never filed a dispute for any charges. They then determined it was a legit charge… someone got hella lucky with a iPad and I got screwed. Seems like banks recently have gonad backwards.
This happened to my parents, unfortunately they had bought some gifts before they went on a trip and the Bird once I get an attitude it takes me 3 5 business days to fix my face shirt also I will do this store charged $12,000 instead of $120… they left and when the charge went through it maxed out their credit card while overseas. They had to fight international calling fee charges disputing it with the bank as well as overdraft fees. They were lucky to enough have travelers checks for an emergency. See, this is why I like Jersey Mike’s more than Subway; at least then when the total comes to $1,000 you’re not really surprised. Subway customers service doesn’t exist. I ate there for lunch pretty regularly, since it’s pretty convenient, and quick. I had their app on my phone, and one night within a span of 3 minutes, had an order placed in TX, 2 in CA, and one in GA. I was going to bed in my east coast home.

More about this Bird once I get an attitude it takes me 3 5 business days to fix my face shirt

My app was hacked and they used my log in to order off the Bird once I get an attitude it takes me 3 5 business days to fix my face shirt also I will do this app and pick up. I alerted my credit card and ofc had to cancel and get a new one. When I tried to delete my app/profile, I couldn’t. I wanted to totally delete my profile so it didn’t happen again. I sent multiple messages on their website and they never responded…this is about a year later. You probably didn’t get hacked. Someone just found your password. Almost certainly from reusing passwords. I see this constantly, working in IT. There are lots of ways to make this messy for the owner of the subway. First file a police report against the owner and employee working that night. Second file a fraud repot with the bank, state attorneys general office too just because why not. File at better business bureau and file a small claim court lawsuit against the owner and employee.
283 more repliesLooks like a POS error. The item is listed as 12″ #23PepSa12xChz Sub at a cost of $1,010.00 it then lists all the Bird once I get an attitude it takes me 3 5 business days to fix my face shirt also I will do this ingredients that she would have requested, but they don’t actually change the price, so that item would have to be keyed into the system that way. The sub above the one in question has a $1.50 charge added for bacon. I would assume the POS has this sandwich listed as $1,010.00 when it should be $10.10, but that doesn’t explain why the first sub on the receipt is free. Crazy that she was denied a chargeback, chase did it for me when my Nintendo account was hacked and someone ran up $500 in vbux. They asked me some legal questions and said ok. It took less than 15 mins to have all of my money back
Could be worse. I am still waiting for the Bird once I get an attitude it takes me 3 5 business days to fix my face shirt also I will do this “sandwich” my wife ordered through their app while the two employees pretend to be doing important paperwork. “There’s no way, unless it’s wrapped in gold or from some other place. I would never pay $1,010 for a Subway sandwich,” Bishop told WSYX.” It’s true, people will fork out so much cash the second you start adding a few dollars worth of gold leaf to a dish. That’s called theft. And also her bank should kind of be on the hook for it too. You’d really expect a call like: “Hey, you don’t normally spend $1k at Subway, should we investigate that, or did you buy the franchise location?” So nobody not the cashier or the customer saw the price on the cashier screen, pay screen, or no one said it out loud? I can dispute any charge on my debit card through my bank (been there done that.) I agree with the BBB that the woman should file a theft/fraud report against Subway and her bank and take them to court to get her money back plus damages. Something similar happened to a friend of mine a few weeks ago, they entered the zip code as a tip and when she called to complain they had the nerve to say it was a $400+ tip. It was eventually returned to her but it was still a hassle. Saw the comments from the article, looks like it’s not first time, said comment also claimed to have screenshot.
The store closed permanently that same day? Interesting. Is it possible they did this intentionally? Subways are franchise owned so how do we know the Bird once I get an attitude it takes me 3 5 business days to fix my face shirt also I will do this owner didn’t just try to cheat a bunch of people before closing up shop? The real lesson learned? NEVER use a debit card for any purchases. ALWAYS use a credit card. Debit cards shouldn’t even be allowed for purchases. It’s a bullshit way to have YOU assume responsibility for theft. If you need cash go to your teller or keep a little at home for an emergency. But get RID of your debit cards, and use credit cards and pay off the balance at the end of each month. Reckless spending is the largest addiction in the nation. People are literally addicted to buying things for an ounce of dopamine. Instant gratification is now just the modus operandi for a significant portion of the population and credit cards fuel that. Debt is high, savings are the lowest they’ve been in years.
Dude, look at the Bird once I get an attitude it takes me 3 5 business days to fix my face shirt also I will do this average rate of credit card debt for an American. No one should be encouraging anyone to use a credit card at this point. Its something like $2000-$3000, insanity. The people who can actually use them properly will be smart enough to know that they can use them like a debit. For the rest its not a great idea to start. When are we going acknowledge that it just isn’t a choice of being dumb with money but rather credit card use/abuse models addiction behaviors almost perfectly. Yeah thanks for confirming you’re a troll. People being irresponsible isn’t an addiction – it’s just being irresponsible. How the heck didn’t you notice the amount you were authorizing?!? You can typically tap a purchase under a few hundred bucks. I would have been…why the heck do I need to insert my card for a $20 charge Not everyone taps because not every place accepts taps. But yeah I don’t know why you wouldn’t verify the charge before inserting your card. If I had to guess she was distracted by her phone or her kids. I love how certain folks are that debit cards can never have similar protections as credit cards. Holy shit, just find a decent credit union instead of sucking Visa or Mastercard’s dick. Something similar happened at the restaurant I work for. We offered to make it right immediately, refunded her money she still made a huge deal about it on social media , got a charge back, reported us, and tried to take legal action. Some people are just scammers
Corporations are doing this shit more and more and I’m convinced it is because of Trump. If he doesn’t have to follow rules, why should they? It sounds like she used her ATM and not a credit card so she doesn’t have the Bird once I get an attitude it takes me 3 5 business days to fix my face shirt also I will do this usual protections. You really shouldn’t use your ATM card to make purchases. Getting cash from an ATM. There’s really no reason to use it for anything else. Use your credit card and pay it off before the end of the month. Get points, protections, and a handful of other perks. If you can’t use credit cards responsibly, just use cash. Do you realize how ridiculous this system you treat as normal is? Incur debt and pay it off every month because it has better protections than a logical payment system because no one fucking demands consumer protections.
Good question. People who can’t get credit cards or who don’t understand the Bird once I get an attitude it takes me 3 5 business days to fix my face shirt also I will do this risk (or who very heavily trust the entity they’re working with). That said debit cards do still have more protections than people realize but the time you have to recognize and dispute fraud is lower and because it’s your money it is gone immediately in the meantime which can hamper your ability to pay bills. This website asked for my cookie preferences. That took a minute to process. And said some of them failed. Then asked again with a different cookie window. Then asked me to sign up for the newsletter. Then started playing an ad with sound that I can’t mute. I am in pain I’m skeptical about the entirety of this narrative. There are significant gaps that raise doubts. As someone who manages a Subway, I know firsthand that refunding a purchase through the POS machine is straightforward. The notion that she returned to find the store mysteriously closed strains credulity. If she had returned the next day and requested the owner’s information, I’m certain they would have been eager to rectify the situation and refund her money. A Subway franchisee wouldn’t risk the negative publicity associated with such an incident. This situation appears more like an attempt to extract money rather than a genuine grievance.
Why would you just make crap up to speculate and insult the Bird once I get an attitude it takes me 3 5 business days to fix my face shirt also I will do this victim in this situation without even opening the article? She didn’t think it was odd when she swiped her card and the machine had a total of $1,021.50 on it? Or when the cashier said, “that’s gonna be one-thousand twenty-one dollars and fifty cents”? If you just blindly swipe your card and press the green button without being cognizant of what’s being charged to it, you deserve what you get. God millennials will never learn….if they only stopped doing dumb shit like this they might actually be able to afford a home….is it really worth it just for an avocado sandwich smh 141 more repliesMy friend had something similar happen to him here in the UK many moons ago. The Subway employee forgot to type a point in so instead of £3.00 he was charged £300. He didn’t notice until he got the receipt. Took him months to get the money back. The amount of Subway related presents he received from all his friends after that was hilarious.
I’ve only ever filed chargebacks through Amex, but they’ve never let me down. It’s crazy her bank won’t dispute this. In my experience when it’s clear-cut like this, the Bird once I get an attitude it takes me 3 5 business days to fix my face shirt also I will do this bank/card company will steamroll the business. Something seems off with this whole story. Why didn’t the Subway employee notice $1000+ charge. This is not a number they usually see. I’m in the subway subreddit and people post screen shots of similarly priced sandwiches in the app. Must be an entry error for that store for digital prices. She just didn’t notice and agreed to pay it. Psh I was charged 1,500 for a single sandwich once; paid with my credit card not debit, the vendor called me and refunded me instantly. I had a bill at Safeway for over 17 million dollars, but they figured it out before I tried to run my card. The cashier hit some wrong buttons while trying to ring up a clearance item. I have a photo of this too, I loved it. She’s full of crap. I had a fraud charge of 620 dollars I called BOFA fraud department and desputed the charges, got my money back and a new debit card. This is what a restuarant does when something is out but they can’t change availability on the app, only price. If I went to a restaurant (Subway or wherever) to order 3 subs and they said “That will be $1,000”, if they insisted that it was not a mistake, I wouldn’t take the subs and go elsewhere. If they didn’t say the number it would still show up on the register before I sign / punch my PIN.
Do people just not look at totals before paying? Sure I know I have enough in the Bird once I get an attitude it takes me 3 5 business days to fix my face shirt also I will do this bank to cover whatever it is I’m buying, but I’m still going to look at the total before I pay because shit like this happens. Reminds me of the time a vending machine tried to charge me $582 for a pack of M&M’s. Luckily I only had about $200, so it got declined. Another route is she can use the resources we have here at the Better Business Bureau, our dispute resolution process. Right, then they can write an angry letter, put it in a bottle and huck it in to the black sea. It has more chance to sink a russian submarine than it would to get her money back. At no point did the cashier tell her the total? She never checked? Never looked at the screen, nothing? Just swiped and said fuck it? I ordered 2 $50 gift cards for my niece and nephew for Christmas. They shipped one to the correct address and another to a rando. When I started emailing customer service, they said I had to purchase directly from them if I wanted it addressed. I had. They said nothing after that. I disputed with my bank. I got refunded the $50 but what about tax? Disputed that too and got it back. My girlfriend had kinda the same issue when she got her car service, for whatever reason she was charged twice, the bank said they couldn’t refund it until the car service had confirmed it, the car service said it was still pending and wasn’t in their system and that the bank would have to confirm it, the back and forth with no regards to how much money she was down while they were bickering about who’s fault it was Can turn that $1000 into at least a few $100,000 maIf they didn’t resolve this I’d just get a job there and charge everyone 1,000 dollars a sandwich.
This happened to a friend of mine for like $16,000 at a Waffle House. They fixed it right away though because it was obviously just a huge fuck-up by some tired waitress. How does it even happen? A missed decimal place? If it’s your bank account how do you look at the Bird once I get an attitude it takes me 3 5 business days to fix my face shirt also I will do this screen and accept a charge of 1000 plus? No way you could tap for that I had an online bill payment which was supposed to be 65.15 end up being 6515.00 because the interface for the number input was non standard and I thought I was adding a decimal but wasn’t. I just called the bank and said I fucked up. They checked and verified indeed I had in 30 seconds and cut me a cheque for the difference. I had to correct the Subway cashier once for trying to charge me a footlong price for the 6 inch sandwich I ordered.
This is why I only have $500 on the Bird once I get an attitude it takes me 3 5 business days to fix my face shirt also I will do this account that I have my debit card on. If someone tries to charge some insane amount in the hopes of me not noticing (or maybe if there’s just a weird glitch), it wouldn’t go through. At one point she goes “There is no way to reach a live person (at Subway).” Even if true, so what? Submit anyway. But a simple search does come up with a phone number too: the article mentions the BBB, which is still a valid option to try. I’ve used it for a few things and it’s generally worked well. Most major retail companies want to have a good BBB rating, so they will make a slightly greater effort to deal with a BBB complaint than they do with a customer service complaint, and it’s often the push that is needed.
I am fairly confident I would notice the Bird once I get an attitude it takes me 3 5 business days to fix my face shirt also I will do this charge amount being that high before I would press enter for my credit card details. this is why a credit union is so much better than a bank. my credit unions chargeback form is like 1 page and you submit it and the money is back in ur account pretty much within 24 hours and i have never been denied Wtf piece of shit useless article ends by saying they should use a credit card to have recourse. Like wtf duhhh. How the Fuk do they think she paid 1k for a sandwich and didn’t notice? Travellers checks and Pennie’s? Useless garbage article idiots. Of course she used a cc. She should honestly look for another bank. If a 1000 dollar charge went on your card and caused your account to go in the negative it should have been flagged. I have far from the best bank * Hells Fargo but even when my card info was stolen to purchase 600 dollars in shoes that caused my account to go negative my card was automatically locked and all my money was put on hold
If you look closely at the Bird once I get an attitude it takes me 3 5 business days to fix my face shirt also I will do this receipt, the sub total is ~1k. What’s the problem? That’s how much the sub cost, total. It’s correct Every financial advisor I have ever talked with, has told me to never use my debit card, but rather, a credit card. Never expose your own money to the world; use someone else’s. How about a boycott of subways until this is resolved? Heck, this only hurts their franchise if they incompetently overcharges you and refuses to correct it. I am so angry I am actually filling a better business complaint and an IRS complaint because they lie about taxes too. As in the 7% on the receipt doesn’t math to 7%. This is one of those things where if we did it to them it’d be “FrAuD aNd ThEfT” and immediately call the cops. But, because it’s a corporation the law will always side with and serve them first, over us. I had a coffee place do this as well, Charged me $250 bucks for a coffee. I went back when I noticed the charge the day after, and they said they only authorized it for that much and didn’t put it through, and would only put $2.50 when it did go through. Guess when it when through? A fucking week later. I raised hell with them. I raised hell with the bank. I called both every single day, asking where the fuck my money was… I went back to the bar in person on Monday and talked to the manager. No one could do a damn thing. They couldn’t undo an authorization. They can refund me money but when the authorization drops none of my money is actually gone.
I talked with my bank and they said short of fraud, there’s nothing they can do until the Bird once I get an attitude it takes me 3 5 business days to fix my face shirt also I will do this authorization drops. I was soooo mad. One time I bought my kid a goldfish at Walmart. I lived 45 min away. Didn’t notice they charged me $660 until I got home. Next day I had to take off work and drive hour and a half round-trip to get a refund. Customer service tried to argue with me and demand that I returned the fish if I wanted my money back. Finally got them to get a manager to come. They said obviously they’ve never sold a fish that expensive and didn’t know why the barcode was even in the system. They refunded my money. And the manager thought the customer service lady was brain damaged. 32 more repliesBought a new phone from Rogers and the guy looked at me with a white face after my purchase. He charged me 9000 instead of 900 and I was gobsmacked. Took 20 mins to fix and he felt so bad. Always check your receipts!!! It is incredible to me, the amount of people in here, and obviously her, who don’t look at the total before they commit to payment. It’s your one responsibility when buying something!
