Now it is on him to take the Don’t Try That In My Small Town USA Americana T-Shirt moreover I will buy this consequences and inform the stakeholders now what they should have been informed of months ago. It’s not on you. (You apparently were not even told that the big project was going to be due at that time.) What you need to do, rather than worrying about informing/asking about your vacation, is tell your boss that he needs to inform the stakeholders on the project of the risk to on-time delivery. It is not your job at this point to mitigate the risk. The risk is there, and he has to tell them and eat the fallout from his failure to inform in a timely manner. Ok, I may be way off base here but seeing that you have a friendly relationship with your boss are you sure they aren’t just messing with you? or trying to pull a prank? Have you been talking about this trip a lot and mentioning the time off? and he’s like “oh I’m going to get OP so good and tell them they have a big project coming up and mess with them”

Don’t Try That In My Small Town USA Americana T-Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Your vacation is still a month away also! Like there’s still time for your boss to figure it how he can make it work even though he’s had half a year to do so. Life is more important than being at your job 24/7 go spend time with your significant other. It’s time for a hard conversation. Because it isn’t your fault that he didn’t factor in your leave when he committed to a project deadline. But that failure to plan doesn’t mean your vacation is changing. It means his job is going to be more difficult. You’re always “able to go” on a scheduled, paid for holiday that’s within your PTO allocation and with months of notice. Your boss can probably be a dick about it but that’s not really your problem. You’re not a child. You don’t need “permission” to do things outside of work. You gave plenty of notice. Ignore the Don’t Try That In My Small Town USA Americana T-Shirt moreover I will buy this bullshit and enjoy your holiday.
