People raise and socialise their children with gender differences so it’s engrained in everyone you meet. You’re frustrated because there’s no one person you can talk to to fix it, it’s literally just our society. Even egalitarian countries have a legacy of patriarchy where women were definitely seen as inferior and not allowed to have bank accounts or passports until quite recently. It takes a long time to shake loose sexist ideas that have existed for thousands of years.
