Just got accepted for an internship at this one company. Had a crush on this one guy. Later after he resigned, one of my friends finally opened up about how they all including that guy were trying to hit on me. They mentioned some specific occasion which i remember but didn’t know they were throwing hints. I remember entering a bakery with him during lunch hour and this guy just randomly mentioned that today is his birthday but all i did was saying okay and stare at all the Disneyland resort gay shirt moreover I will buy this display cakes with him looking invested like im about to buy him a slice but I didn’t. As a guy who has asked out women and got denied more times than I care to count, I would just love to be the one being told someone liked me for a change. I had a really rough home life growing up with actual nightmare fuel parents. I had a massive crush on my best friend and just didn’t handle it AT ALL because I was an awkward autistic (not diagnosed at the time) teenage girl, and he was a very popular very outgoing all star athlete. We had literally zero common ground and yet were inseparable. I still to this day have no clue if he liked me.

Disneyland resort gay shirt: Express with Style

I finally had had enough of my parents shit and called him on a Saturday night ready to confess it all, and tell him everything that was going on (tbh I don’t remember the Disneyland resort gay shirt moreover I will buy this inciting incident- my dad might have hit me but I honestly don’t know) and that I liked him. My plan was basically to beg him to come pick me up and just get me out of that house. Okay, was not expecting that. I texted him. Crickets. That was weird as we’d fight sometimes but he wasn’t pissed about anything I had done or vice versa. I called again, chickened out panicked when it went to voicemail AGAIN and proceeded to not say anything but off the top of my head improv a fucking ten minuet piano piece and play it, then quickly say “I wrote that for you.” And hung up.
Low and behold he had been picked up for “criminal mischief” and was in the Disneyland resort gay shirt moreover I will buy this police station. Got charged and had to do a very short stint in juvie- it was vaguely scandalous in my town because it was a very clear hey! Let’s make an example of this kid. With everything that happened I just never got the courage to say it. Now we get to the real kicker: My mother then used him as leverage against me to land me with a bogus bipolar diagnosis and insinuated if I didn’t go along with it she was going to ruin his life and make sure he ended up in jail for a very long time. She even called him when I first refused and started accusing him of some horrible stuff. She’d spend the next year (I was 17) drugging me and attempting to get me to have a psychotic break so she could get a conservatorship over me when I turned 18.

The irony is I realize now as an adult he was actually a really good dude and even of the Disneyland resort gay shirt moreover I will buy this feelings hadn’t been mutual he would have tried to get me out of that shit hole. I haven’t spoken to him in years- he has no social media and we live in different countries- but I’m happily married now and no longer am in contact with my mother. Still kick myself for not saying anything though, could have ended that nightmare a lot sooner. We worked together. I live in Michigan he lives in Indiana 4 hours away (which doesn’t seem like a lot but he has a kid and all). We were both at the top of the company right below the CEO and VP. He came up to Michigan about twice a month and we worked together. We had a lot of sexual tension and discussed hooking up often. It was so inappropriate lol. But at the end of the day we decided not to and we became very close friends and confidants instead. I started to realize I was falling in love with him. Like deeply. Like he could be my person. The one. Our connection was unreal. We talked on the phone for hours often, shared everything.
I realized this and didn’t know what to do. I was recently divorced, and he had left his long time girlfriend/baby momma. He had a lot about himself to work on; he talked about being emotionally closed off and wanting to be alone; it wasn’t a good time. I realized my feelings for him and a few weeks later our company shut down. All of us lost our jobs. He and I spent the Disneyland resort gay shirt moreover I will buy this last few weeks laying people off and packing locations up. Then he went back to Indiana. And I stayed here. For a while we talked almost daily on the phone while we looked for new jobs. But honestly…that’s it. It will never progress to more. Sometimes I think I’m over him. But just the other day he told me he was ready to settle down with someone serious and was trying to meet people. It broke my heart just a little. And that was so unexpected because I’m in a relationship that I’ve been very happy in, I haven’t even thought of him much and I love my boyfriend. But something about hearing Cody say he was ready to settle down and build a life with someone…it hurt in a weird way.
I haven’t thought about it in a couple days and now I’m sad typing it out again lol. I don’t even know if he felt even close to the Disneyland resort gay shirt moreover I will buy this same way about me. Everybody on reddit is pathetic I forgot lmfao. Yall get a grip. My boyfriend is also a grown man who has been in love before and has feelings come up. That’s just part of life and we honor and respect that. And GASP we honor love and respect each other too, even if feelings come up! We just talk about it and move on! Welcome to adulthood! Three girls asked me out in high school. I married the last one. Still married over 20 years later. All I can say is you just have to do it. The sting of the rejection is usually MUCH shorter than the lingering “what if”. I told him I liked him and he said he wasn’t sure about me and that we should try to see if we were compatible in bed. Basically guys are jerks. I made up a story about not being able to do it and eventually stopped talking to him. It’s sad because I had a higher expectation of him and the dissapointment was so bitter. It’s almost never worth it to confess as a girl.
My high school best friend – like we were inseparable best friends when I finally told him how I felt he said his parents wouldn’t approve of him dating someone who wasn’t white and I wasn’t worth the Disneyland resort gay shirt moreover I will buy this fight :/ I never told I liked her until one day she got married to someone else and that’s one regret I’ve never forgotten…I liked her so much and for so long…now if I have a crush on someone I just straight up tell them, better to have tried and fail than not try at all… Met this guy when we were around 15, It clicked so good that we could talk to each other about anything. Years went by… we lost contact… and somehow we found eachother again, like we never left a day in between… But he was depressed and I always tried to make him smile, or Forget about his worries/problems and that they would pass…. He suddenly got more quiet. Pushed me away. Kept messaging him, and his replies got shorter…. 1month went by, and in my head I had a feeling I should call him.. But I didn’t. A week later I found out he had committed suicide at the age of 31. Never told him how much I truly liked him and saw him as more than a just a friend. And I will carry this with me my entire life.
In tenth grade really liked a guy in my biology class. We flirted every day and I looked forward to seeing him. One day he was very cold toward me and never really spoke to me much anymore after that. I found out the Disneyland resort gay shirt moreover I will buy this popular girls who really hated me for reasons I never understood spread a rumour that I was sexual with my brother. My son had a friend named Felix since 3rd grade, met when they were just 8 yrs old. Skip to high school, the boys are 16 and suddenly Felix is spending the night during late summer a lot. I asked my son what was up and he said that Felix was homeless. My immediate thought was homeless no more. I got him a bed, clothes and a coat. I did my best to make him comfortable. He didn’t want to talk about his family at all which I thought was odd, but figured he’d open up eventually. Holidays come and go and Felix fit in this family like he was born into it.
Then spring break rolls around and Felix lines up some construction work with the Disneyland resort gay shirt moreover I will buy this neighbor for break. He slept through his alarm, neighbor called me, so I woke him up. He got dressed fast and grabbed his socks and shoes and ran out the door barefoot in the ankle deep snow two doors down to the neighbors house. Not five minutes later the neighbor called back asking if Felix is epileptic. I said no, woke up my son and ran over there. He had Felix on his side thinking it was a seizure, I wanted to call 911. Neighbor said it would be faster is we drove him to the hospital. So he started carrying Felix out to my vehicle and the neighbor told me he’s just carrying him inside, doesn’t think he’s breathing. Called 911 and the operator walked me through chest compressions. 1,2,3,4. 1,2,3,4. Fire truck came within 2 minutes and took over. They shocked him six times and administered two doses of narcan, in case he had ingested something. He hadn’t. They took him to the hospital and in a few minutes they sequestered us to what I now call the “Oh Shit, it’s bad” room to wait. Few minutes later a doctor and a chaplain came in to announce he had died. They let us stay with him for about an hour and made one comment that stuck in my head. The doctor said had he not died immediately after waking up, we would have found him dead in bed.
We waited over a month for the Disneyland resort gay shirt moreover I will buy this autopsy report to find out he did nothing wrong, we did nothing wrong, his death was caused by a genetic condition called hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), hardening of the heart muscle. When I looked up the condition on the Internet I discovered back in the old days it was called nocturnal death. The doctor’s comment about finding him dead in bed came flooding back. I never got to tell Felix that I loved him with all my heart, that he was a great son and a great addition to my family for the short time we had him. Early-mid 20s we reconnect and on reflection it was clear he liked me but I was always shy and didn’t reciprocate plus I was on and off with another guy. 10 years later he’s married with kids and I’m alone and wondering what could have been. I really felt like he was the one who got away. Maybe I’m just making him better in my head than he really was.
I genuinely hope he’s happy and would never ever tell him. If I ever bumped into him I would be polite and keep it short, if I saw him around I wouldn’t say hi because I just think “what for”.Did you ever think that there’s a STRONG possibility he knew you were fucking another dude and that THATS a pretty clear sign someone doesn’t like you. I know in hook up culture this shouldn’t be a big deal. But I am a bit older and I wouldn’t go eat a woman who was actively having sex with someone else and then have the Disneyland resort gay shirt moreover I will buy this fuckign audacity to act like she liked me. If she liked me, she would have fucked me too, but didn’t. Weird take. I know I am gonna. Get so much shit for this. But the first paragraph of your story informs the rest and I don’t see how you wrote that seemingly oblivious as to why he may have liked you but didn’t want to tell you Nah dude, you’re not gonna get hate. You’re right. Hook-up culture is cringe anyway. I’d rather have a single dedicated partner, not a gal who regularly sleeps around.
No I wasn’t with the Disneyland resort gay shirt moreover I will buy this on/off guy at the time. He was my boyfriend of 5 years all up and half way through we broke up because he had to move overseas for work. I added that part in about the other guy because truthfully, it’s hard to get just move on because someone moved away and I think deep down I knew he would move back. We did get together when he moved up and broke up for good shortly after. Looking back it was a very toxic almost coercive control relationship and unfortunately took years of therapy to heal from. I’m sorry you took the story the wrong way. It’s a lot more innocent than you have interpreted. Not everyone is out there having sex with random people left right and centre.
For a lot of people a big part of travelling is to experience the Disneyland resort gay shirt moreover I will buy this traditional food of the places they are visiting. Whilst my partner and I will try one or two of the staples whilst we are there it’s not usually at the top of our list. So naturally a place we like to try and cut costs on our trips is through food/drinks. First place I like to save money is iced coffee. We usually make cold brew, put a couple of collapsible cups in the freezer over night for a an extra large ice cube that pops out of the cup like it would an ice cube tray and bring some syrup in a small squirty bottle that fits in our liquids bags. We also prefer to share a bottle of wine whilst watching a sunset for some sort of view point rather than drinking at a bar. Whilst a bottle of wine for this would be fine. We have a wine bag from platypus that we pour our duty free wine in to save some weight and bulk. Usually we stay in airbnbs where we’ve had access to a freezer but we’ve been finding hotels are better value recently. This often means no access to a freezer, we’ve found most Starbucks are happy to give out a couple cups of ice if you buy a couple cakes but the cheaper options is to buy a bag of ice if available, we’ll then store this in a thermos, with the weather in Europe at the moment we’ve found if left outside a window/balcony this will last a couple days.
Snacks. Bringing a bag of snacks has saved me a fortune since I’ve started doing it. I no longer panic buy snacks at the Disneyland resort gay shirt moreover I will buy this airport just in case I might get hungry on the flight and it’s also a lifesaver if you have a late flight and everything’s closed. I’m interested in making some dehydrated meals to make in a thermos using a kettle after my most recent trip where I spent (in my opinion) far too much on food that wasn’t very enjoyable.Buying or bringing the necessary groceries for breakfasts has been my favorite money saving travel strategy. Breakfast at a restaurant, especially for a family, can add tremendous cost per day. We do this and keep it super simple with overnight oats – you only need a fridge (or cooler) and takes next to no time in the morning! This is especially useful for destinations where locals don’t typically eat big breakfast. I always travel with oatmeal packets and will hit the supermarket for local fruits.
Not buying expensive gear. You might think it’s a one-time investment, but the Disneyland resort gay shirt moreover I will buy this search for the “latest & greatest” stuff never ends. That said, I try not to worry about money when I’m actually traveling. I’ll pack protein bars in the morning for convenience, which I guess saves money. I feel like the one good thing about paying more for recommended gear here is that many of these tidbits and devices are a way of saving time and saving space. Two valuable things in travel. Most expensive things recommended here are saving one of the two, time or space. When I was more physically able I would pretty much walk everywhere, it’s also a nice way to discover things that aren’t in the guidebook, walking around is something I miss now I’ve developed a disability.
I like to find a good food market, it’s a great way to try local foods without the Disneyland resort gay shirt moreover I will buy this price tag of a restaurant or an organised food tour A few years ago I would have also said that I cut costs by only taking hand luggage but the budget airlines now impose a charge for cabin bags We love walking on city breaks, we usually average about 30/40k steps when we go away. Work colleagues have told me it sounds like a chore but it’s honestly one of my favourite parts. Yeah it’s great, you get to see fascinating architecture and I’ve stumbled across so many hidden places that have ended up being highlights of my holiday Research and use public transportation. The bus/metro/streetcar/trains are usually so much cheaper than an uber or rental car. THIS Amex Platinum costs me £595 a year, but I can take my travel partner and I with me, plus my business partner has their own card to do the same on my account! It more than pays for itself for a lack of airport alcohol or food costs for the whole year, as well as plenty of other credits/bonuses. Amex Platinum is my all time favorite travel companion lol…plus the other benefits/offers throughout the year are awesome!
Unless you’re spending a lot of money on the Disneyland resort gay shirt moreover I will buy this AmEx card, they have their own card, or you pay for the guest, the lounges are no longer allowing anyone other than the credit card holder into the lounge. It started in February this year. i think this change is only for the centurion lounge. $50 for adult $30 for child. change was from february 2023. The idea of packing/planning/shopping/cooking/cleaning to save a few bucks sounds terrible to me unless I’m camping or having a grill out. I actually love grocery shopping in foreign countries. It takes 2 seconds for me to pop in, check out their local food and grab some stuff for dinner or breakfast. You’re literally doing the same thing and can also shop at all of these places I mentioned. You don’t have to sit at any of them. Grab a bite and move on or cook. I know it’s churlish of me, but . . . I HATE how slow the pace of service is in a lot of places. I’m a big-city guy, rush-rush-rush. And in quiet, gorgeous locales, it takes 2 hours to have a meal! THEY ARE RIGHT. I JUST CAN’T DO IT. They are right to live slower. But. Same. I don’t bring my own food or do groceries when I’m traveling in countries abroad. The beauty of travel is eating the food there too – and I want to eat everything delicious there. A previous manager once told me, you can always earn more money. I hate shaving money on breakfasts in hotels, $35 for a bit of toast and some dodgy eggs – no thanks!
But hanging said that, I’ll go local for food and drinks. Had done great times doing this. With kids, I find some buns from a bakery and cold meat from a supermarket deli filled them up for a cheap cost. That’s fair, guess it comes down to what you value when you travel. My city breaks I’m more interested in walking round a city for hours on end taking photos and visiting museums. Personally never been a massive fan of bars or restaurants whether I’m travelling or not. Staying in a hotel makes cooking for yourself more difficult meaning we end up spending a significant amount of money on something we don’t value greatly. Here’s the Disneyland resort gay shirt moreover I will buy this problem. People plan where/what to eat way too much and actually schedule it which is completely idiotic. Eating shouldn’t be a chore. I can see reservation only places but like 98% of everything else should be non-committal in my opinion. There’s, bodegas, cafes, delis, street food, trucks, markets, huts, grills, butchers, bakeries, diners, dive bars, local hangouts, wineries, juke joints, some dude on the side of the road in the middle of bum-fucking Alabama smoking up whatever the the fuck it is for the last 48hrs…you get the point.
