It’s a catch 22 Try to ask for a sample maybe if MAC is too expensive – however, I have not looked back since trying paint pot. The shade Painterly is such a nice match for my complexion that I also use it as a spot concealer. Some of the paint pot shades are amazing one-and-done eyeshadow shades, actually Mine does this as well, no consistency either-and it’s just my left eye only. I can use the exact same products Monday and Tuesday- monday I’ll have a teary eye, Tuesday I get nothing. Cleaning my brushes and using new or my usual products make no difference. I’ve basically resigned to the fact I have to take a mini kit with me to work/outings/events because I can’t count on my eye not tearing up.

I have tried everything. Eye drops, changing concealers, changing eye primers, changing mascaras. Last year i tried a product a day to try and see if it was something in particular I was using since it went for my left eye to both eyes. I think it is just this time of year. Here to comment allergies also. I find that just putting makeup on is enough to irritate my eye if I’m already prone to allergies. I just take an anti histamine before I apply. i get this too and while i can’t stop the tearing, i use a sponge instead of a tissue. that way it just blends the makeup on the side versus keeping the weird void.
