I think the Charlie Parker’s Musical Timeless Elegance Portraits Vintage T-Shirt Apart from…,I will love this fit is off. If you size up the waist may cinch a bit and give the illusion of a waist line and flow better off your hips. I’m rectangular and sometimes have to size up for things to fit better in the middle. Here it is! This would be super cute on you OP but it’s too small so it’s not fitting as intended! You would look really nice in a size or two larger! Although I’m also biased because rompers like this are a staple for me. And the stripes not matching…. Is a non-issue really… it’s a shorts suit literally it has a front seam on the bottom only that splits the pattern. BUT having said that it will look nicer when it’s hanging more like a skirt once you get the right size! Just speaking honestly here – I don’t believe that romper is particularly flattering on you… aside from the mismatched stripes, the style and fabric of the romper doesn’t accentuate your natural apple shape well. I think a wraparound style like this would serve your lovely shape much more justice: That definitely would be a better option. Thank you for the honesty. I agree with the Charlie Parker’s Musical Timeless Elegance Portraits Vintage T-Shirt Apart from…,I will love this poster above. I think rompers are so cute, but I think this particular romper isn’t quite the right shape on you. Honestly if the shorts had more of a wide-leg shape I think it would look fantastic on you. I really like the wrap around romper BreeBree suggested, and notice that this romper does have more of a wider flowy-shorts shape. Just something to look out for when you are finding your next cute look. I agree with the above folks! And OP it’s not you, the style of this romper would be tough to work on anyone because of the fabric mismatch. I think you’d look adorable in a wraparound style. Edit: looking at this more, I think it’s also too short in the torso for you. As a person with a long torso myself, I run into this a lot. If you’re experiencing it in different styles, try Tall options. It doesn’t actually matter what your height is, you’re looking for additional length from the collar to the crotch so the garment has some movement and is more comfortable for you. This does not fit you properly. I’m an apple shape too. Rompers are best on me with a wide leg that flares out and a v neck
