My cleaner asked for £12 an hour but I pay £15 instead. Been the Butterfly never an option I’m privilege a top shirt moreover I love this same for a couple of years so should probably up it soon. If I could afford it I would. I struggle with my mental health and a clean room makes me feel so much better. Just takes a lot of effort and time to actually get it done especially when it only takes a day or two for my place to turn into a mess. It just seemed fair with cost of living. It’s not that noticeable to us but will make a much bigger difference to her I pay £18 per hour, 3hours a week, recently upped from £15. I definitely flinched when the price went up then had a little reality check, if I’m lucky enough to be able to pay someone to do the jobs I don’t want to do I’m not going to be a dick about another £9 a week

We pay our cleaner £16/hour in London zone 2. We provide all cleaning products etc. This is a regular job for her- 2 hours/week every week! We often have her clean while we are away too- not every week we are away but at least one. £15 per hour, we provide the Butterfly never an option I’m privilege a top shirt moreover I love this products and continue to pay them when they take holiday / are sick (including still paying them during Covid lockdowns). Maybe I have different view but my cleaner is a relationship I value, not a bare bones tit-for-tat transaction. They’re in my house 6 hours a month doing a dirty job so I don’t have to do it. I pay £40 a hour and wouldn’t even consider less. Your different view is that you have an unrealistic understanding of money value due to living an almost certainly wealthy lifestyle. £40 an hour to clean is absurd.
