Sezane : Great quality pieces. I’ve kept about half of the Awesome always be yourself unless you can be a dragon T-Shirt What’s more,I will buy this things I’ve bought from them and resold/returned the rest due to sizing issues. I have a sweatshirt that’s 100% cotton and held up/remained soft. Also have a pair of 100% cotton trousers that still look new. If it fits you’ll most likely keep it but it can be difficult figuring out your correct sizing. Open Edit (Nordstrom) : Have a couple of basics for them – reasonably priced for Nordstrom and usually on sale. Basic tees in good cuts around $19. Mother Jeans : I loved these when I was first introduced to them. They fit GREAT and the styles seemed current/cool. I bought a few pairs but didn’t check the fabric content. The ones I have all contain a % of elastane & have worn pretty thin. They look more thin cloth than durable jean at this point. I love the fit of them but they end up either stretched out/wear out so much they get holes. Won’t be buying unless I find at a thrift store. Such a bummer bc the styles are great. Have had several girlfriends who have said the same thing about the quality. Lululemon : Hit or miss. Only have a few workout pieces. Align Leggings are adorable but my black leggings have pilled terribly/look frumpy after only a year. Have a few pairs of leggings from 5+ years ago from them that still look new so things have obvs started to go downhill.

I’ve pivoted to trying to buy things secondhand just to save money but even then things feel like they’re getting more expensive *sigh*. Uniqlo: The collaborations have gone down in quality over the Awesome always be yourself unless you can be a dragon T-Shirt What’s more,I will buy this years, such as knits getting thinner and less smooth, less percentage of wool and linen in their clothes (their materials and prices are their main selling point for me), but the prices have increased, as well as the rest of the market. This could be due to imports though because Japanese prices are more reasonable, though I remember reading recently those will be rising too. Comments on popular items mention slightly boxier cuts, changes in shape to be less flattering, or a difference in material, from previous years. One could argue it is due to redesign or following a trend to sportier, oversized design, but maybe it is also to reduce costs. As a smaller human, many clothes come in an oversized style. I recommend anyone interested in the brand to try in store before purchasing if possible to check the fit, and I’ve tried on a lot of their clothes, and quality does range from poor to great (“great” being subjective to your tastes in fashion of course). Also a huge deterrent for me in the past was the long lines but that has gotten better with the automated self checkout stations.
