It’s the Austin Reaves Too Small Legend Basketball shirt and I love this culture that is the real problem because it encourages decision making that encourages violence over de-escalation… and even thuggish behavior by individual officers. This is what I don’t get. I come from a police family, I don’t hate cops by any means, but we’re always told how they’re heroes who put their lives on the line for us. But then when it comes to situations like this, all the burden of the situation is put on the civilian. If they don’t act perfectly, the cop gets to kill them because they “fear for their life”. Its a fucked up dynamic and it needs to change. Why are the trained, paid professionals the ones who get to panic? Part of the job is that police are the ones burdened with de-escalation. Yeah, it’s risky, but it’s the job.

Austin Reaves Too Small Legend Basketball shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Here is the Austin Reaves Too Small Legend Basketball shirt and I love this crazy part, the high-schooler delivering your food puts his life on the line more to offer you a service and is held to a higher standard than your standard police officer. I am not exaggerating, being a cop isn’t even top 20 most dangerous jobs in the US. But we give them soooooo much leeway and use of force because some folks are afraid of shadows. No. If you have all those tools and allowed to kill someone or harass them with thr law you need more scrutiny in my book. I agree with you on this. And these situations happen a lot. Not even fatal ones, but situations where people end up injured or in jail because the officer escalated the situation. I know many officers do a great job on a daily basis, but enough don’t that you have to inspect the culture with a critical eye and determine that something has gone wrong. Even if the bad cases get more attention than good policing, they happen enough that there has to be a problem.
