One of them painted a very interesting replica (a stick figure with boobs) to replace it. They had a whole series of tips and advice they’d got from a variety of NPCs to make a big heist go off without a hitch. It involved making the lord of the manor extremely unwell with a drugged drink. The did this using a tablet they paid to be left in the till of their local tavern, which was to be placed in the Lord’s beer jug. The beer jug already had a potion left in it by a servant they had paid off. This would react with the tablet and when the beer was added, it’d be tasteless but would cause the most extreme shits. They then had to blow a hole in a wall of a vault using dynamite disguised as a candle in a cake (identifiable as the explosive by a little grip on it for careful handling), stealing everything in sight, and legging it.

This so reminds me of my dad. I can imagine the AGM every single year – the treasurer delivers a report stating they are verging on bankruptcy, then the membership votes down any price increases to mitigate this. Then everyone grumbles when it shuts. All the pubs near me are 6-7£ a pint, the social club is 3.50 max so if you like a pint and snooker then that £2 is worth it for sure One near me used to be £2 a pint and everybody used to book the place for weddings, funerals, birthdays etc because the bar was so cheap.
