I’ve seen a lot of service dog handlers get wonderful, cancer-free dogs from great lineages with ethical breeders but the general state of the breed nowadays seems to just be puppy mills and backyard breeders. Two very high drive dogs with very differing drive motivators turn into puppies that are not raised carefully enough to prevent destructive adult dogs. That and I can ALREADY see the GSD having major joint issues – her ankles bend sideways. They’re not even healthy examples of their breeds, any puppies they have would just be unhealthy, neurotic disasters. The motivation for breeding them is purely financial too of course
