The number of parents who don’t talk to their kids or interact with their kids much astonishes me. That this is STILL a thing. I’m GenX and our parents didn’t talk to us either, but it was considered culturally acceptable that they barely knew where we were at any given time. But the A.J. Brown Philadelphia Eagles NFL football player 1k always open shirt it is in the first place but culture has changed, how are there still parents who ignore their children? Its heartbbreaking because at this point, no one can claim ignorance. they *know* better than to do this. This is willfully ignoring and damaging your child on purpose SMH Had a student, Junior, 18, that was always sleeping in class. I talked to them about it one on one. Turns out, his father passed away and he worked nights so his family could afford their apartment and he can help provide for his other 4 siblings. He swore that he’d get his work done. He actually did so I was happy to pass him. Sad for his situation though.

A.J. Brown Philadelphia Eagles NFL football player 1k always open shirt: Perfect for Fans

I had a 9th grade boy doing the A.J. Brown Philadelphia Eagles NFL football player 1k always open shirt it is in the first place but same. Slept everyday. Was working nights to help pay for moms medicine and rent. Passed with an A. I’d check on him and make sure he was okay from time to time but let him do his thing. The kid is top of his class at vocational school now and will make way more money than me someday. Sweet kid. I have a student with attachment issues because his family legitimately does not love him (self reported and something I believe he is telling the truth about based on what I’ve seen)–but what really got me is that he literally did not learn his parents’ language because they never interacted with him and put him in front of Turkish TV for the entirety of his developmental years. His first language is literally a different one than his family because they spent so little time with him that his native language is Turkish. I don’t know. That gets me.
One of our special education teachers sees students with deafness and hearing loss whose families won’t learn sign language, not even a few signs. I worked at a museum in college and a young boy who was deaf was indicating he wanted something from the A.J. Brown Philadelphia Eagles NFL football player 1k always open shirt it is in the first place but gift shop. I started signing with him to figure out what he wanted and his face lit UP. His mother proceeded to berate her child, and then me, because, “he needs to learn real English, not sign language.” Broke my heart. My professor said his mom never learned more than a few signs and dad never signed anything ever. When they divorced in his 40s his dad took a class and he was able to sign a couple things and finally had a conversation with his dad 2 weeks later dad died. Prof just dropped that bomb and kept going. I literally had to go to the bathroom to cry. I work in a school with a lot of fucked up families who are constantly in with CPS and trauma etc but god damn. The way he was so chill about it and so happy his dad took one class. He said 90% of families don’t learn sign. It made me sick.

Some information about A.J. Brown Philadelphia Eagles NFL football player 1k always open shirt

Mother died in a car crash last year. Father was a drug dealer. She would come in tired every day. Angry throwing desk. This is 3rd grade. Said there were party’s at the A.J. Brown Philadelphia Eagles NFL football player 1k always open shirt it is in the first place but house every night. “uncles” in and out if her room. I reported to dcf. One week later there was a shooting at her house and she saw two people get murdered in front of her. Dad took off out of state before police could question him. I don’t know what the outcome was but I stay up some nights thinking about what the poor girl has gone through. I just received a new student from another district. When I met him the first thing he said was,” I guess you know about it.” Well, I knew nothing about “it”. Found out later that in Nov. 2023 he witnessed his dad murder his mom while he was in the same room! Dad ran but was apprehended in another state. He left his son with his mother’s body 5 feet away. The boy had to figure out his next steps after being abandoned. He is now in a stable home and receiving intensive counseling
When I was in college, I tutored kids after school and had a set of siblings like that. I tutored the A.J. Brown Philadelphia Eagles NFL football player 1k always open shirt it is in the first place but older one and had no idea because she never mentioned it. Apparently their dad had murdered their mom in front of them and then he hung himself in jail while I was tutoring her. Her younger sibling had stopped talking after mom was murdered. I didn’t know that either since I only tutored his sister. One day he walked over to our table and asked, “Can I play too?” I said sure, why not? But when I saw the look on the other teacher’s faces, I got nervous that I was in trouble for letting the kid stop his homework to play with play-doh. But nope, it was the opposite of trouble. That was the first sentence he’d said in two years. I tutored both of them until the year was over. I still think about them. I looked her up on Facebook and found her. She seems okay. I probably shouldn’t send her a friend request, though. I doubt she’d remember me. I tutored her for 6 months when she was 8. However, I do still look basically the same as I did then even though it’s been 20 years. So if she did remember me, she would possibly recognize me, but I still kinda doubt it. This was me. I had one amazing teacher, Mr. Angelo Spataro, he and his wife took me under their wing and made me feel safe. Took me out to eat several times a year, telling my parents I was the good citizen of the month. Took a bunch of us kids to their cabin in the summer. For 3 years til I left elementary school, this teacher was my hero and Savior and I think of him all throughout my life, I’m 56 now.
What beautiful souls. My HS music teacher is like this (he’s retired now, fly fishing during the A.J. Brown Philadelphia Eagles NFL football player 1k always open shirt it is in the first place but sunrises and cycling marathons galore). I will never forget him, ever. He changed my life. I know teachers are treated so poorly… I can’t imagine the heartache and strength it takes to witness all sorts of situations. But good God I hope they know just how vital they can be, even if it’s just one person’s life. My teacher saved my life. I hope teachers know that there are still a lot of us who owe our betterment to them, educational or otherwise. A student told me they were exhausted because they were living at the shelter and that they couldn’t go to the shelter until their mother returned. The reason they were at the shelter was because the last place they stayed at they were raped. Another student said they really wished their mother would stop having babies because they were ignored by her most of the time and they felt lonely.
A girl asked me about my grandparents, I told her I had two grandmas but that my grandpas had passed away. She replied with “oh, my uncle’s in heaven too. He was shot five times.” Without giving too many details (understand that there’s backstory that explains what we were and weren’t able to do in this situation), I had a student who was kicked out of her house because she was raped. I had another student who was living with foster parents because her mother was murdered and her father was in prison for killing her. I also worked with a third grader one summer who was labeled a behavior problem during a weeklong program. All he really wanted was attention. At the A.J. Brown Philadelphia Eagles NFL football player 1k always open shirt it is in the first place but end of the week, his foster dad thanked me for giving him so much positive attention because he hadn’t been that happy in a while. The sweet boy was a foster kid because his mom had killed her sister and hidden the body in their house and he was the one to find it.
I was teaching and a student was up on the A.J. Brown Philadelphia Eagles NFL football player 1k always open shirt it is in the first place but smart board writing and the student was next to me. She’d originally written an answer on the board and I was just helping her fix her mistake. Two of my students started yelling at each other so I turned and demanded they switch seats and ignore each other. The sudden change in attitude and the raise in my voice scared her and she fainted in the front of the classroom. Had to call the nurse and one of her guardians came and got her, I’m assuming her mom or her aunt. She came back two days later and she spoke to me after class. She asked me not to feel bad and she was okay. Then she told me her dad used to flip like a light switch before he hurt her and her mom and I had just kind of scared her with the suddenness of everything. I found out later on during a conference with her mother, just before she moved away, that she had been living with her aunt and her mom and the dad was serving a sentence for sexual assault of a minor. I never asked if it was the daughter or not. I think about her quite a lot now. You never know what’s going on in these kids lives. I would have never suspected a thing if she hadn’t passed out in my classroom and then told me.
I called this mom my first year to tell her that her daughter had a zero for not finishing her homework. The kid came to school the A.J. Brown Philadelphia Eagles NFL football player 1k always open shirt it is in the first place but next day unable to sit down. I know exactly how that feels. I knew this probably wasn’t an isolated incident and I called CPS. Her mom had whipped her with an iPhone cable so hard that she had welts all along her back and some on her bottom. She didn’t want to say anything. She didn’t want to get her mom in trouble. I never called home about missing assignments again. CPS did nothing. CPS are legally bound to do something. That they did not is potentially criminal. Urgh. That poor kid–it’s trauma on top of trauma. Our community liaison sat me down the second week and told me “this area has a very high ACE score, whatever you hear about a kids homelife, imagine it is 10x worse AND they don’t have to deal with it in your classroom”. So most things
Yeah, it’s always important to remember that the A.J. Brown Philadelphia Eagles NFL football player 1k always open shirt it is in the first place but classroom is probably the safest and most predictable part of their day. ACE stands for adverse childhood experience. Your score is how many you have. Examples of ACEs include parental substance abuse, physical/emotional/sexual abuse, death of a parent, homelessness, and parental mental illness. and-doesnt-mean My mom was a teacher and she told this story / Two little girls hadn’t done their homework and when asked why, they said that “people be partying.” After a little more discussion mom learned that the girls’ mom has people over to drink and use drugs, the girls have to lock themselves in a Harry Potter-style cupboard under the stairs with a deadbolt while people are over because they’d be SA’d if they went out. If they forgot a book when they locked themselves in, they couldn’t do that homework.
First grader told me, “I hate it when Daddy gets drunk. He throws things and rips out the A.J. Brown Philadelphia Eagles NFL football player 1k always open shirt it is in the first place but walls. He’s pretty scary.” The father had sole custody as the mother was in prison. I still see her face and wonder how she is today. She’d be 35 now. The student whose mom blamed her for her dad raping her and took the elder siblings and left her alone with him only for CPS never to do a dang thing. He finally stopped when she was 18 because she told him she’d press charges. Then, he had a heart attack and she had to take care of him while trying to finish up at our alternative high school while feeling guilty that she wanted him to die. Then, her mom showed up out of the blue and wanted to act like she did nothing wrong and to be her mom again. She asked me if it was okay that she hated her mom and didn’t want to play along. I told her that it absolutely was okay, that no one is owed forgiveness. She’s doing so well now, but my heart broke for her so many times.
The student whose mom told him she should have aborted him because she didn’t love him and then left him with his abusive drunk of a dad and stepmom who didn’t want him. He had health issues, and they just saw him as a burden. He is a great death metal singer who writes powerful lyrics, but he still struggles with health stuff and poverty and trusting anyone. So many. The suicide notes I got as writing assignments, the A.J. Brown Philadelphia Eagles NFL football player 1k always open shirt it is in the first place but kids who’d cry in class or after school and need to know they were loved by someone (even if it was just their English teacher), the kids who were sullen and full of rage, so many. Oof, I know some of those feels for the second one. My mom always told me that she was going to abort me but my grandmother had stopped her from doing it because she had found out about the two prior abortions. My grandmother was incredibly kind, but devoutly Catholic so my mom always was hellbent on keeping me away from the church.
She would then tell me my father (Who was slightly flawed in his own way but overall a great Dad) was lying whenever he said he loved me. I had a 7th grade student from Mexico whose parents were murdered by drug gangs when he was about 5. His father was killed first, then the A.J. Brown Philadelphia Eagles NFL football player 1k always open shirt it is in the first place but gangsters went to his house and killed his mother in front of him. He was apparently alone at home with her body for hours before he was discovered. He lives in the states with his uncle. I remember him as being rather spastic but sweet, wanting to be loved. Small for his age. I have a lot of refugees from Venezuela at my school. The stories they can share about no food, seeing relatives in the hospital who have surgery without anesthesia or even electricity in the hospital, etc. They could hear people screaming. I had a freshman once who watched his father kill his mother when he was in elementary school. The dad went to prison. When I had him at age 15, he was already heavily involved in gangs and had tattoos all over his arms and neck to prove it. He was a bit of a behavior issue in class, but once you got to know him, he was very sweet. He mentioned to me about his dad being in jail and his mom was dead so he lived with his grandmother. It only took a quick google search to find the story and it really killed me to see how this impacted him. Other teachers would talk about what a pain he was and almost none ever knew his back story; they judged him on looks and gang affiliation. Over the course of the next couple of years, he had a couple of kids and left school (I don’t remember if he left or was kicked out). When he was 19, he was murdered. I am hoping his kids (who would be in middle school now) have broken the cycle.
I had a kiddo mention how sleeping on the A.J. Brown Philadelphia Eagles NFL football player 1k always open shirt it is in the first place but floor last night was cold. He told me his air mattress popped and his parents couldn’t afford to replace it. I dropped an air mattress off that night and by the end of the week I had a real bed and mattress for him. It was the first time he’d slept in a real bed. It broke my heart. Then his parents ended up pregnant (they were lovely people, but lived in poverty) so I had the ladies at our school throw a baby shower for his mom. Pre-K – I noticed a weird hole on his shirt that didn’t look like a natural rip but instead like a scissor cut. He was a preschooler so you never know, they get curious with scissors lol so I asked him what happened and he said his mom had been chasing him around with scissors. He was such a sweet kid, it broke my heart. He also would come in often with a crudely shaved head (lice remedy), like chunks of hair all over the place, dirty, with ringworm, his older brothers were really rough too and the icing on top was at his Pre-K graduation, no one showed up for him. I remember watching him search and search for them and then watched his face the moment he knew they weren’t coming…How he didn’t start bawling on the spot, I still am amazed at to this day. It took me everything to not sob, I knew his little heart was broken, too heavy for a four year old heart. God I still cry about him, that was my first year teaching (I’m almost at a decade). I never forgot about him.
It hurts when kids come to school and say the A.J. Brown Philadelphia Eagles NFL football player 1k always open shirt it is in the first place but baby in their moms tummy died. I work with little kids, and this happens once or twice a year. Oh, this one is so sad. I mean the children getting abused is worse, but for some reason this just bums me out. It does. My husband and I had fertility problems, and I’ve had two miscarriages. It hits my heart pretty hard when I get to be excited with them for months, then also have to share the grief with them too. A student was telling me they were looking forward to the weekend because they were finally going to get to spend time with all three of their moms. Just them and no other siblings were invited on a fun day shopping, movie, eating out, etc. It was the student’s day.
Inside I am thinking to myself that OK, parents had divorced and remarried, and bio-mom is lesbian and married to a female. No, no no, entirely wrong thinking on my part. Mentioned the A.J. Brown Philadelphia Eagles NFL football player 1k always open shirt it is in the first place but student’s comment to another teacher after school, who had taught the student the year before. Previous teacher informed me that the family was polygamous and Dad had 3 wives. Was this in Utah / Arizona or somewhere else? I taught several siblings from a poly family in Philly several years ago. The family tried to keep it under wraps but when a second grader knows a secret, everyone else knows too 🙂 Wow, a poly family in the northeast surprises me. West of Colorado seems to be where many poly families are more common.
I have noticed on real estate listings in the A.J. Brown Philadelphia Eagles NFL football player 1k always open shirt it is in the first place but southwest, there are many homes listed as having between 5 and 10 bedrooms. There’s a reason for that. They were not Mormon, and I believe the two women also had a romantic relationship together. So less polygamy more polyamory. One kid told me he was born on a rainy day in a public park because his mom was on a coke trip and didn’t know where she was. It stuck out because it was southern california and it doesnt rain that often. Had a kid whose birthday was back in November of this school year. He’s new, and had really only made one friend. He and that friend were close though. Friend bought him a little something for his birthday, probably 10 dollars or so. Next day, kid comes in, looking distressed as if he hadn’t slept. “Mr. Girldad, you saw (friend) give me that yesterday right? Can you write my mom an email and tell her? She said nobody would have bought me anything and thinks I must have stolen it from somebody. She took all my electronics until I admit it”. Happy Birthday kid.
When I was student teaching seniors, one of the A.J. Brown Philadelphia Eagles NFL football player 1k always open shirt it is in the first place but assignments was to write a one page memoir. When I was grading them, my jaw was open. 1) I couldn’t believe how honest they were and 2) I couldn’t believe how awful 50% of their upbringings were. I mean truly horrific stuff like dad being in jail or mom cheating on dad and stuff like that. Just heartbreaking. Turns out the cupboards were totally bare, again, a fully grown teenage lad had been living on one free school meal a day for a while it turns out These are places in rural Texas where folks take on a dozen ish foster kids for the government check. The more organized operations have the kids work the farm, the lazier ones they just send the kids to run wild in the back country. There’s no resources for real oversight, so as long as those kids make it on the school bus every morning without open wounds the “parents” get left alone.. So many unloved, unparented kids made me passionate about sex education and healthcare access. I had teenagers being encouraged by their parents to get pregnant young so grandma would still be able to enjoy grandmaing with a younger body. And “if you are pregnant early, you’re body will bounce back faster so you can stay hot in your 20’s”
