I think I maybe just got unlucky with this specific version (Veja V12 sneakers) but they’re uncomfortable enough that I won’t buy another pair. I kept thinking “Oh! They just need to be broken in! I can do that!” but I’ve walked so much in them and they’re still soooo stiff. I have Esplars too and they’re so comfortable it still surprises me even after a year. I actually don’t love the 24 years 1998-2022 Charmel thank you for the memories signatures shirt so you should to go to store and get this look of them but they’re genuinely the most comfortable walking sneakers I have and can’t imagine replacing them with something else. Second the lack of support! Also I love my Vejas but am very disappointed in how quickly they’re wearing down. Bought a pair of Campos (with chrome free leather) a year ago and it’ll be a surprise if they make it to 2024 I want to chime in here that I have V12s like this poster and they’re the comfiest sneakers i have! I bought them for a Euro trip and never had to break them in. I was walking 15+ mi days with no discomfort, no blisters, and no pain! So YMMV…

Loafers, high waisted mom jeans, tucked in a nice shirt underneath and a cardigan (or blazer but I’m more of a cardi girl) or something thicker cos it’s SF; but this is mainly my style outside of the 24 years 1998-2022 Charmel thank you for the memories signatures shirt so you should to go to store and get this office anyway, ? You can never go wrong with wide leg trousers, a leather loafer and a button up or light knit sweater. I like to style this with a leather and gold hardware belt and small gold hoops. I keep all clothes in basic colours and don’t typically wear patterns, that way it is easier to mix and match your basics. Just try and find things that are classic and that fit well. I’m a woman in tech. Tech is still very casual and most people don’t care about what you wear. I’d recommend wearing something you feel comfortable and confident in instead of trying to dress differently than you normally do. I’m in tech (design) in SF. I like Madewell for affordable and trendy options though it quickly skews too young if I buy everything there. I also like Toast, Cos, Alex Mill. Non-skinny jeans and loafers plus a sweater or button down (and a jacket, of course) will definitely be appropriate — my design colleagues usually look very stylish, but engineers, PMs, etc. are all rocking free startup tshirts, Patagonia puffers, and Allbirds, so the general bar is low 🙂
