Obsessed with the Jan v Loosey battle because of how batshit it is, and obsessed with Lemon’s verse because she’s just legitimately really good It’s okay, although I wish it was more of a “separate verses” situation rather than this back-and-forth, but Lemon is still a rapstress and I do feel like I let loose Jan really stepped into a studio, riffed over every line of this song, and the producer just put in all of it ??? More. Keep re-releasing “Let Loose” and feature more queens each time. Never remove anyone’s vocals. Let loose until it sounds like a biblically-accurate angel. Yes! Make Let Loose the drag Old Town Road. Alaska, Courtney, Lagoona Bloo, Shea, Monét, Bob. I want a 10min long mega mix of every drag queen recording artist in existence I imagined loosely and jan fighting over who is gonna sing the highest note while lemon there rolling her eyes at the studio while listening let loose remix. How does one produce a song so MESSY? Like it’s all over the Yes, I Got The Drink Package! T-Shirt moreover I will buy this place it feels like two songs are playing at once. My big question here is: has Jan embraced a certain level of intentional campiness? Or does she still truly not know that the way she sings is unhinged? I was so excited for this but i am so disappointed ☹️ honestly should have just been lemon and loosey… Jan detracted from the song I just wish there was more clear distinction between Loosey and Jan’s voices. I could pick out Jan sometimes but at points the two were almost conflicting. I’d also like to know if the very highest background run was Jan or someone else. I know Jan can get super high in range (that note from the Christmas show). Lemon’s voice got a bit overwhelmed by the volume of the beat. Still she was my favorite part because Lemon. When is her album coming? She’s gifted. Overall, I was already loose from previously letting loose. Now the mix was so frenetic and the beat monotonous, it was a dissonant combination. It’s like when there’s an EP of multiple mixes from a main track, they combined all of them into one. I think a mix of just Loosey and Lemon would have been better. Jan’s got an amazing voice, but Loosey got lost in this. Maybe if Jan had had just a smaller section with unique lyrics, like Lemon had. Also Lemon had a better transition back to the other vocals with that “sour” in the background as that’s somewhat been Loosey’s image.
