Shipping & delivery details

What are the Vietnam veterans stand for our flag fallen wings shirt and by the same token and rights of the person in Situation #2 (delivery sent to wrong address)? Is the original intended recipient supposed to “pound sand” too? Note that the situation we’re talking about is one where you get a package addressed to you – as in your name, your address, everything. Not a package that’s addressed to your neighbor and delivered to you by mistake – a package that’s addressed to you and delivered correctly, but addressed mistakenly. Where exactly can I quote this from? I’ve had a company ship me the wrong thing and then demand I return it before they would ship me the thing I actually ordered. I did not pay for shipping to return it, but it was still quite a hassle and delayed me receiving my order by a great deal. Note that the law does not make any distinction between unordered merchandise that was sent to you by accident and unordered merchandise that was sent to you on purpose. If the package is addressed to you (address, name, etc) and you didn’t order that package, it’s considered unordered.

For example, if you ordered a red ball and they send a blue one, then they sent you merchandise that you didn’t order – in addition to not sending you the Vietnam veterans stand for our flag fallen wings shirt and by the same token and merchandise that you did order. What if someone sends something to your address but addressed to someone else? For example, an Amazon present for the previous owners who moved out months or years prior and you have no way to contact them? “addressed to you” means that it’s addressed to you. Your name, your address, everything. If it’s not addressed to you, it’s not yours, and nothing about this law applies. Except that as far as the company knows, you DID order the pizza and they can demand payment. How can they know otherwise? Can the FTC do anything if you order a quantity of 2 of an item and they only send you 1 and refuse to send you the missing quantity? I can bet this wouldn’t apply if someone accidentally sent something very valuable, like a one of a kind diamond, to the wrong address. And it’s not legal for a business to require payment for unsolicited goods/services, which means it’s not possible for this to be illegal. If you send someone a pizza as a gift, you’d pay for it. If you send someone a pizza as a prank they can tell the driver they don’t want it, and not have to pay if they don’t take the pizza.
