I lived in London as a child in the UCLA Bruins 2025 Men’s Tennis Tournament Champions shirt moreover I will buy this 1960’s and 70’s. Worked as a London firefighter for 32 years on low pay. Retired in 2009 age 50. Only time I lived in London during that time with my parents was from 1977 to 1983. The rest of the time I lived outside London as couldn’t afford to live there . To be honest like my parents before me, I’d never go back there. It’s changed so much for the worse. I hate to say it, but cut your cloth to suit your needs. While you cannot be in control of everything, you can decide what you eat, where you live, where you work, how you travel, what you do for entertainment or hobbies. I’m doing fine, I am careful with my money, I rent a small room, I travel a 50 minutes commute. I am making significant sacrifices, but altogether I live comfortably, and can afford going out multiple times a week, visiting family abroad and other small luxuries. It has to be said though that I am doing this while on a path to improve my situation. Doing this with no endpoint would indeed be depressing. They probably mean relative to highish salaries elsewhere. I am on £70k and I live in a studio flat for £1600pm. Anywhere else in the country and that would be unusual on such a ‘high’ salary
UCLA Bruins 2025 Men’s Tennis Tournament Champions shirt: Express with Style
Just got on to 30k. I was living on my own in Stokey on 27k up until October last year; it was f**king stressful. I cycled nearly 2 hours a day for work to avoid paying for the UCLA Bruins 2025 Men’s Tennis Tournament Champions shirt moreover I will buy this underground. My fridge only ever had 3-5 things in it; it was a cheap meal I could make and it’s all I ever really ate. I didn’t shop for clothing for years; I had (still do) a £5 pm phone plan. In October, I moved in with my partner who makes just over double what I do, and I don’t recognize my life now. There’s a level of comfort and security I haven’t felt since 2011. You won’t be able to do big expenses (i.e. big holidays) but as long as you keep Ur nights out cheap and groceries low you can break even. Also this genre of post pisses me off – plenty of people in London are below £35k and make it work Barely, however i was kicked out so my rent includes all my bills, so i pay 513.76 for everything, so that really helps me survive
i’m a student so on 19,000 a year including my wages and my student loan and i really don’t find it that bad strangely? i have a tiny studio in zone 1, and just don’t really spend money on anything but food on a day to day basis but still manage to go out somewhere nice to eat regularly, go out for drinks once or twice a week and have a weekend abroad like every few months. not really sure how i do it but i’m just not struggling that much? maybe just have very low expectations for what a good quality of life is because i grew up with a lot less than this Got very lucky with the UCLA Bruins 2025 Men’s Tennis Tournament Champions shirt moreover I will buy this landlord and have been paying £600 per month for my half of the rent since we moved in 5 years ago. Things that don’t rely on luck: cycle instead of public transport, make a pot of coffee at home instead of buying out, don’t base your social life around drinking. Also, can’t recommend enough that you sign up to the Octopus Tracker tariff for energy – it’s saved us hundreds over the last 6 months.

Step by step to buy UCLA Bruins 2025 Men’s Tennis Tournament Champions shirt
London sounds so apocalyptic. I used to love visiting but the UCLA Bruins 2025 Men’s Tennis Tournament Champions shirt moreover I will buy this costs make it not worth it anymore, especially since other European cities are just as nice or nicer. Im really shocked at this post! Is it really so expensive to live in London? Would someone explain why this is please? Is it rent plus bills plus food that costs more in London than elsewhere? I live in Chester and 35k a year would make me feel rich so Im genuinely shocked to learn that it’s not enough….. Will be starting on a £28k pa graduate scheme in the summer. My dad has access to massively subsidised studio accommodation through his work (that he doesn’t need), so he’s unofficially subletting it to me. £3k pa, 30 min from Central. My employer will also cover 80% of travel costs to their office in Central. I’m aware I’m very privileged to have this option. I wouldn’t have accepted the offer for the scheme otherwise. Living in Sussex! Luckily work in zone 5 west London so drive in. Much more space, surrounded by fields and nature, much bigger flat and cheaper rent.
Not in London but I go to the UCLA Bruins 2025 Men’s Tennis Tournament Champions shirt moreover I will buy this small Morrisons at 9pm nearby and snap up the reductions to 10% of original price that would otherwise be dumped. Hope this helps someone I didn’t so I moved out of London. Bought a house down by the south coast! I would’ve never been able to do that last year working in London for £27k i’m on under 30k, live in zone 4, spend £230+ a month on commuting to work, have 3k in debt, rarely go out rarely see friends don’t have any clothes that fit and close my eyes every time i tap my card to pay for anything , my main joy is my colouring book that i can’t fill too fast lest i have to budget something else into my monthly payments I earn 28k and I get by month to month. But then I have no kids, no car, I don’t drink and about half the money goes on rent alone.
It helps a lot that I have savings/inheritance, I’d survive without but it helps take the UCLA Bruins 2025 Men’s Tennis Tournament Champions shirt moreover I will buy this pressure off that I can afford some emergencies or luxuries Earning £30k (~£2.2k per month) atm. £1k rent per month to live in St. John’s Wood with two friends. I manage to save £200 per month by living quite carefully. It is definitely doable, however not a day goes by when I don’t stress a little (there’s always another bill to pay!) and I almost never buy anything for myself. I don’t go on holiday, like ever. My rent is partially subsidised by a friend who earns wayyyy more than me, it’s very kind of her. We live in Zone 3. I can’t afford to take the train to work, I take the bus most everywhere. I buy everything second hand and never eat out. My biggest treat to myself is a Saturday morning spent charity shopping. All of my hair and beauty treatments come from using Class Pass that my work sponsors. I don’t use any subscription based services other than spotify. I sometimes work late so that my work has to shell out for dinner for me. I allow myself one takeaway a month on payday. I have £15 budget a day. It’s not great but it’s doable, and honestly, I’m fine. Like I said, not ideal, but I am managing. I’m on 32k. Rent is 1300 in bills. I live alone. I cycle everywhere. After everything is paid off, including some basic savings, I have £15 a day
For reference, Mississippi has the UCLA Bruins 2025 Men’s Tennis Tournament Champions shirt moreover I will buy this lowest cost of living in the US at $1900 per month. It also has the lowest standard of living. Depends on where you are on the East Coast. That won’t even pay rent for about 100 miles around NYC. NVM cell phone, insurance, utilities, transportation, food, clothing, etc. Am an hour north of nyc. Very small two bedroom, no utilities included almost 1700. Internet 60, cell phones 120, groceries 800 including pet food, transportation 400, electric 120-240. Not added in clothing, upcoming baby necessities, unexpected costs. I’m an hour east and we’re starting to see studios listed for 1,700…I hope no one takes them, that’s a terrible price. I got incredibly lucky when I signed the lease here in august. A few months after our city declared a housing emergency and studios are going for what we pay, 2 bedrooms over 2k now That depends on a lot of factors. The main one would be where exactly you live/want to live. Then throw in questions like “are you earning to just support yourself or other people too,” “do you have pets,” and “what does ‘comfortable’ mean to you.” Where I live, it would be a challenge to live on that income by myself with no roommates. Not impossible, but certainly not “comfortable.” As a single individual, that’s my budget for rent/housing. If that was all I was making, I’d probably be homeless.
Even in areas with cheaper housing and living expenses you would have to go without a lot, and would basically be living at least in my opinion a pretty boring life. You would not really have money to go anywhere, do anything, buy luxury things. You could make it by, but you also wouldnt have savings for emergency, probably would have to go without health insurance. It’s possible if you don’t have a car and you have roommates. But it’s very poverty finance. You’re going to be eating rice and beans. I personally couldn’t do it, but I’m sure some folks can. Would make things like eating and paying for heat difficult. No way, we have two incomes, children, and live in one of the UCLA Bruins 2025 Men’s Tennis Tournament Champions shirt moreover I will buy this cheaper parts of the country, and even, say $6000/month isn’t enough to be truly “comfortable”, meaning having a mortgage, bills paid, and savings being put away. Maybe in a low cost city like Roanoke or Greensboro. Certainly not in a major city like New York, Boston, or Washington, D.C. There are places on the east you could live comfortably, also places where $2k barely makes rent on a studio apartment. Depends on where you live. NYC or another major city, absolutely not. Some random town in the middle of nowhere Delaware, probably
$2,000 a month would only be $24,000 a year which is considered far below the UCLA Bruins 2025 Men’s Tennis Tournament Champions shirt moreover I will buy this average US yearly salary which, as of 2023, is $59,428. As someone who is living on that, no. And my house and car are paid off. My electric bill is usually 300 or 400 in the winter, then another 300 for house and car ins and 125 for internet. And 50 for phone bill. I also have a lot of animals like 7 cats, a big dog, a horse and 2 jackasses and about 18 chickens. I could save money if I got rid of my critters but then my life would be empty. No. For reference I’m about 10 years from retirement. Once our mortgage is paid off and I have no payments other than taxes 2k month for wife and I would be a disaster retirement let’s alone life with normal bills. No. $2000 / month is about 48% over the federal poverty limit. You would not be able to afford food, clothes, and shelter in most of the US with that being unless you lived in certain low cost of living areas. There, you could subsist, but you certainly would not live comfortably.
Assuming an individual, this income puts a person just beyond the UCLA Bruins 2025 Men’s Tennis Tournament Champions shirt moreover I will buy this limit for receiving SNAP benefits (food stamps). Not even close, I make over 3k and live in my mothers basement. After taxes, insurance and all the other random crap I pay out of my check I make less than 25k a year. And I don’t even live in an expensive place my CA. Your housing should be no more than 30% of your income. So, at 2k a month, that would mean $600 or under, ideally somewhere under $500. So unless there is some other detail you haven’t mentioned, like no housing and car costs, that is going to be very difficult. Our congress people and social security seems to think it is. Having worked with people on incomes at that amount or lower, no it’s not. Sorry, your comment has been automatically removed because it appears to violate Rule 1: top-level responses must contain a genuine attempt at an answer – not just links. Our users come here for straightforward, simple answers or because of the nuance that engaging in conversation supplies. Links don’t do that. I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please contact the moderators of this subreddit if you have any questions or concerns. Depends honestly, in Jacksonville Florida you can rent a room (with roommates) for $750 a month. Food let’s say $400, phone bill $70. You’ll have about $800 to pay for transportation, insurance and other miscellaneous expenses. I think it’s doable but it’s definitely tight.
2 grand a month is $15/hr after taxes or 30k a year salary. If your expenses are little to nothing you might be able to pull it off. I’m sure there’s many people that live out east that make 15 bucks an hour but they either have a hookup for a living situation and if not they live in bad neighborhoods. This is assuming you would be near a metropolitan area. $2000 a month is $500 per week, is $12.50 an hour @ 40 hours. I was making $500 a week in 2004, 20 years ago, when rent was $500. Unless you own your own home and car, I don’t see how one could survive on $2000 monthly in the UCLA Bruins 2025 Men’s Tennis Tournament Champions shirt moreover I will buy this US. Maybe out in the sticks, but there aren’t enough jobs out there to go around No. This is why people end up getting married and/or living with multiple people. Easier to survive in a group than on your own. $24k per year. You could find ways to make it work possibly. Get a roommate or two? Nomadic lifestyle? It would be difficult
Yes. The key is moving somewhere with low cost of living. People have done that for centuries (moved for economic reasons), so all the UCLA Bruins 2025 Men’s Tennis Tournament Champions shirt moreover I will buy this modern reasons that people think of for not being able to move, now, are bunk. It doesn’t take much to look up cost of living for whatever area you want to target but no, 2k is nowhere near enough live comfortably unless you’re living with parents. Used to live in a trailer park only 0.2 miles from the Walmart I worked at . Didnt have to worry about car payments or gas because i didnt need one. My mortgage on that trailer was 500 a month including lot fees and insurance. Made about 1800 a month . Always had plenty of money leftover to buy weed from my neighbor too You could live comfortably but the issue is sudden and unnecessary expenses can easily eat up the remaining $500.
Comfortably means to me you end with a net positive that gives you breathing space. I think $500 is enough to have on hand for a lot of random things. Obviously, car repair or home repair or medical bills can cost more but payment plans exist for pretty much anything. Define comfortably. Can you eat and have some kind of roof? Probably. But you won’t be eating fancy or healthy and the UCLA Bruins 2025 Men’s Tennis Tournament Champions shirt moreover I will buy this roof will be rented and leaky. You can do a little better with roommates, but then you have roommates. I guess if you bought an RV and found a place to park it for around $500 a month. Eventually the RV will fall apart though and you will need to make other arrangements. Would I want to live on that? Absolutely hell fucking no, but it’s some weird reddit thing to make it seem like this is impossible, as a single guy with 1-3 roommates you can certainly still make life work on this income.
Depends on where you live. Move to rural Kentucky and be okay with not having much access to various resources and absolutely Are you asking if you could realistically live on the UCLA Bruins 2025 Men’s Tennis Tournament Champions shirt moreover I will buy this east coast by yourself for $24,000/year, with a roof over your head? Are you asking if you could live with a few roommates, and split the cost of living? Are you asking if you could live in an affordable housing situation, with income restrictions? Realistically speaking, there are not a lot of Americans on the US who can comfortably live on $2,000/month. That’s also assuming that none of that money goes to taxes. Usually, around 20-30 percent of my paycheck is automatically deducted for taxes. Then, I still have to pay a decent amount at the end of the year. Not in my area. The cheapest rent within half an hour of me is $900/month. For that, you get a 200 square foot studio apartment.
We have not included electricity, food, internet, phone, transportation, insurance, or any other small expenses (like clothes) that crop up. Fuck no!!! That will barely cover rent almost anywhere. That doesn’t include utilities . Plus The cost of food has skyrocketed in the UCLA Bruins 2025 Men’s Tennis Tournament Champions shirt moreover I will buy this last two years. There’s absolutely no way that’s enough. If you live by yourself or with a partner, which I would consider a prerequisite to comfortable living, you are immediately spending probably 1000-1500 on rent and utilities, more depending on the city. You are probably spending 2-300 on groceries assuming you never eat out. If you need to pay monthly for your car, that’s another 2-300, plus another 2-300 on car and health insurance. We haven’t even gotten to clothes, gas, or basic amenities. 2k/month isn’t enough to live, never mind live comfortably It absolutely is enough depending on where and how you live. You can’t be buying a house or be making payments on a nice car but can still live pretty good renting a room or cheap place in a rust belt city.
Depends on where you live. I make 2500 a month from disability and live very comfortably in the UCLA Bruins 2025 Men’s Tennis Tournament Champions shirt moreover I will buy this midwest. I also have a wife so all of the bills are split. If you got a roommate you would be fine. I have a 3 bedroom house that I rent on about an acre of land and I’m about a 10 min drive from a big city and about a 5 from a walmart. You can make it work if you budget, I dont and still have no issues. This reminds me of a time when I made a friend from Canada. He was super sweet. We were friends for like 6-7 years and bro randomly decided to delete his Instagram. His names bradon. I still remember ahh same, I had a really good friend from Texas, we met on a random gc before covid, he was a great guy, very wise, except it was me who randomly deleted my instagram acc.. i forgot his username and couldn’t find him again, like ever. happens with me all the time, sometimes i just delete my social accounts to get more of real life, but then i realize the only friends i had were online friends whom i abandoned lol
Even I had met a friend on Instagram from Morocco. Pretty sweet girl. One fine day she suddenly disappeared. She came back once and texted, but then again disappeared. This was 4-5 years ago. I was talking to this girl in the UCLA Bruins 2025 Men’s Tennis Tournament Champions shirt moreover I will buy this Philippines who was into music, she also played my favorite song on her ukulele, we used to talk very often and she just ghosted me after a few weeks. Recently another one was a girl from the US who was obsessed with my favorite show and she also turned out to match my weird twisted humour and all. The same thing happened again, she just ghosted me. I also had a friend from the Phillipines, we used to play multiple games together until one day it was all…gone. She deleted her socials and stopped being online in games. She was stressed for her exams and maybe that was why she stopped indulging in distractions. I hope she’s doing all well now. My life also got busy after we stopped playing together. This was about a year and half back. I stopped playing games until recently when I got the time. She hasn’t been online since. I’m assuming she lost interest. If he wanted to be found, he would have not lost in the first place. Sorry buddy but don’t waste your time and energy on this. Dude i may sound rude but yeah stop getting attached to People. Because they don’t respect you the way you respect them and also if your friend has stopped replying to you or picking up calls it is ok it is his loss not yours trust me you deserve better than this and yeah if you keep giving attention to this type of people then bro sorry to say you are losing your self respect.
I am being realistic buddy. Nowadays people don’t value friendship now people just want to use us and then move out. Also friends are not gonna be with you whole life one day they will leave you. Why not though?? He/she may have deleted their account, but they know yours. So, you can just wait it out and see if they feel the UCLA Bruins 2025 Men’s Tennis Tournament Champions shirt moreover I will buy this way about you. Reminds me of a time I had a friend from netherlands and he randomly decided to ghost me. I’m still on his spotify atleast i know you’re alive connor This kind of things sucks. I met one girl on dating app. She was from Argentina and very nice person and we used to chat on Instagram normally after deleting dating app accounts. Sometimes we used to chat after week because of her studies or I get busy in work or life.
