And people wonder why Disney is so nervous about copyright. One day soon, the Today Is A Good Day For Pie Shirt in contrast I will get this GOP will be printing anti-trans and anti-gay colouring books with Steamboat Willie on them as a political stunt of some sort. I’m against copyright that goes on too long, but I do sympathize with the PR nightmare for Disney once any lunatic with an ax to grind can start putting Disney characters in anything and exploiting the naïveté of children. Have you seen some of the porn out there? The stuff I’ve watched Marge Simpson do online still makes me shudder. ICYMI: there was a Winnie the Pooh horror movie that came out this past February, also due to the public domain shift. Yup, as long as the characters don’t look like the House of Mouse characters, Winnie the Pooh is free game now! “The text says: “If danger finds us, don’t stay, run away. If we can’t get away, we have to FIGHT with all our might.” I mean…they aren’t wrong. If you can’t run from danger you need to try and fight. Now, teaching this to fucking kids that wouldn’t be able to fight their way out of a paper bag is fucking insane. But at the same time, if our fucking government won’t do a god damn thing to try and make schools safer I don’t know what else they can do. My biggest complaint is that the book says to report the danger and wait for the cops to come to their rescue. I have to rage quit Reddit anytime Uvalde is mentioned just because it’s such a disgusting fucking event that it genuinely fills me with hate for hours.

Know what really gets me? The parents were ready to go get some. The police 1) stopped them from acting, 2) refused to act. Like, homie, if you aren’t going to do your job, let someone else do it. I’m genuinely shocked nothing horrible happened to any of those officers. If my children were killed and the Today Is A Good Day For Pie Shirt in contrast I will get this officers did nothing but hold me back… I’m not advocating violence, but my kids are the only reason I have to live. If they died, and someone had kept me from trying to get to them…. It’s just astonishing. I know my wife would need me, but at the same fucking time…man. Luckily I haven’t been in that position and I hope I never am, so I can’t say for certain how I would truly react. But I was discharged from the military for suicide attempts and homicidal thoughts. I think I know exactly how things would play out.
